Water ride = wet guest. Beautiful landscaping. Grizzly Peak is gorgeous no matter where you're standing in the park at any time of day.

I gave it a high rating, but I was almost a little disappointed that no one on my raft got very wet... we were all prepared to go back to our hotel and change, and then didn't need to! But it is a very beautiful ride and exciting.

Very fun ride with beautiful scenary (trees, waterfalls, grizzly peak ect.) For those that don't want to get so wet, we purchased light rain ponchos at shop next to entrance, and sandals(no socks) are recommended. It would be neat if they added animal animatronics.

Best River Rapids Ride out there. Tallest too, but very enjoyable. The drops are not intense at all, and even if you go down back-first, your always likely to spin around during the drop, which is very slow, unlike the speed of Splash Mountain's Drop. Both SplashMt. an GrizzlyMt. are good on a warm day, an single-rider passes are always a welcomed offer to waiting in line. Make sure you keep yor feet up off the very bottom of the raft if you don't want to spend the rest of the day feeling like yor shoes are full of quicksand. If your wearing flip-flops or slip-on's, your lucky, and don't need to worry. You could go the ride barefoot, and it wouldn't make a diffrance in yor case then. 4/4

Yes, many other parks across the nation have a ride similar to this one. As usual, though, Disney does it better than everyone else, and they do it primarily through theming. The queue area alone is worth your whole admission to DCA. This whole ride is absolutely beautiful. The thrill is just the icing on the cake.

Hint:If you are staying at the Grand Californian, get a fastpass then when it's time, go to your room, throw on a bathingsuit(with a t-shirt or top & flipflops) and hit the ride..get wet, then back to the room to dry off, change and back to the action.

You will get wet! How wet? I cannot tell every person exactly how wet they are going to get, but you will get wet. The seatbelt buckles like an airplane seatbelt, it's not that hard! There are cameras throughout the entire ride so don't do anything stupid. The second drop doesn't always spin you. Complimentary lockers outside of the attraction is where you should store your stuff if you insist on it not getting wet: there is no plastic cover in the center ring. The center ring does not turn the raft, it's simply a handrail. The ride does not take your picture. You can only re-ride if there is not ANYONE in the line waiting for your raft. If you have a wheelchair, you still wait in the entire line. Shirts and shoes cannot be taken off to ride. Your children have to be 42" to ride, not 41.5, and no they can't sit on your lap. If your fastpass return time is 12:30 and you come at 12:15, you're going to wait 15 minutes. The person sitting up at the second drop has no control over when you go down, so just wait and don't yell anything at them. whew! ok, I'm done.

Yes. You WILL get wet. Ah! What a great way to spent a hot day in DCA! Don't take your phone or cameras. Wear some mesh shoes. If you are going backward down a drop, well... You were warned!

Yes it was very fun. Not so long of a wait since it first opened. My twins thinks it's ok but my 8 year old son loves it.

Terrific ride: good length, exciting, nicely themed. You will get wettest (if that's what you want) if you sit next to one of the two doors. One unique element is the inward-facing car design, which fosters a fun sort of camaraderie among the groups mixed together in a single raft. It's a good "do it again" ride, because you'll likely wind up facing different directions at various points than you were before.

This is tons of fun. It is also a great way to cool off in the heat of the day. We grabbed fast passes for a second run as soon as we got off.

this ride is awesome. who ever says this ride is to short is wrong because it is the longest ride out of this type of ride. it also has the highest drop that spins. this is the best ride in the park.

A great theme but the ride ended too soon. I wanted more. The lines are never long so take that advantage and ride it. Everyone will get some great fun out of it. But if only the drop was taller.

Our whole family loved this from 7 yr olds to 50+ yr olds! One of our dads who is in a wheelchair kept egging us on to go again and again. We just couldn't get enough!

Very fun ride and gets you wet.I love the theming and the mountain that is shaped like a bear. I love the waterfall on the side facing hollywood backlot. That waterfall looks so real. The rocks even feel like rocks. I love the thrill of not knowing which way you are going to go down the hill. This is my favorite ride at DCA. THIS RIDE IS A MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, with no pun intended, this attraction is most definetly COOL! I only went on it once with my friends, and we had the time of our lives. I know I did. One of the few highlights of the day for me, but one thats worth "writing home" about ;) Can't wait to go on it again on another hot summer day when it really pays off. And like Tidal Wave at Six Flags, there is an area where you can get really wet without even having to go on the ride!!! I highly recommend checking it out. Its a MUST!!!!!

Great ride, but they're not kidding around when they say you will get wet...as in soaked from head to toe wet. When I got back home and desribed this ride to my friends I truthfully told them I would have been dryer if I had jumped into the shallow end of a pool with all my clothes on.

YAWWWN! There's nothing special about this river raft ride! Not long enough. Nothing to look at except water, and rock! At night though, the caves have some colored lighting. Essentially, it's your 'basic' River Raft Excursion that will get you fairly wet unless you are willing to shell out 6 bucks for a poncho next door.

Very good ride! I rode it 4 times, and never had to wait in line! Once when the park opened, once with fastpass (stand-by and 60min), and twice at night. You have to experience it a night as well as during the day, because many part of the ride look very different w/out natural light.

This is truly a fun ride. Since I rode it at night, I didn't notice all the details, but it is a well-themed rafting ride. The caves were very well themed, and Disney did a great job at making you feel like your in the Sierra Nevadas. The two drops are also a blast, especially the last one.

A wonderful attraction, akin to Big Thunder at DL in theming. The landscaping and feeling of being in an old mining area is quite palpable. The way the rafts are situated (everyone facing inward and tightly packed) would have made animatronics superfluous IMHO. This is a great E-Ticket.

There is more in the area than you would expect. If you want to avoid small kids and explore go at night after most of them have gone home.

Great raft ride. Two items to remember... 1. You will get wet. 2. Eventually, you will dry. So don't pass this ride by for fear of getting wet, after all, its just water.

Don't miss this ride! It is in my list of the top three don't miss attractions in the entire park. I have heard that some people got soaked, but I only got sprinkled while I was going up the lift hill. The rapids part of the ride are not very rough, and the two small drops are very fun. This ride could use some audio-animatronics to liven up the scenery, but for the park's first few years, it is fine as it is.
