I will say that the drops are more intense then I thought they would be, but it is an awesome ride. This is the most intense, heart-pounding "TRUE THILL-RIDE" a Disney. I feel the ride is worth a shot for anyone. My little cousin who is in 1st grade got on it, and even if it scares you to death, you can get your photo at the exit, as well as a T-shirt, an brag that you survived the TOWER OF TERROR. And if you enjoy it, or want to take in the details, you can go an do it again. The ride is easier then most acrophobics would think since the ride is completely indoors.

The elaborate build-up to the ride (creepy foyer, creepy library, creepy boiler room) is actually scarier than the ride itself. The drops are incredibly smooth, but secure that seatbelt tight, because you will be airborne. Anything in an unzippered pocket may come out. Too intense for many children, others love it.

Awesome ride, but I kinda favor the one at Disney's Hollywood Studios, especially at night.

I love love love this ride. My grandma and her friend, who are 70 and 79, love this ride as well. I barely got them on it, but once they rode it, they fell in love with it. In fact, they rode it 7 more times. They love the drop, and they say that the theme is fun.

TOT has its up's and down's and BOY are they fun..take a fastpass for a quick visit with Rod and off to your psycho elevator with a view to die for..California Adventure's is better than MGM/Disney World, but both are GREAT.

The opening remarks that Rod Serling makes in the library video can be seen on the twilight zone episode "Its a good life"...they take the scene where he turns to the elevator, but in the episode he turns to a portrait on the wall...very cool little fact.....................jason ybarra /pasadena,ca

This is one of my favorite attractions. You never know how many times you will drop or how far each drop will be. And that is exciting in itself.

I absolutely LOVE this ride! I like the rides that are also stories, and this is one of them. I am really small for my age, (80 lbs last time I was at DCA), and the first time I got on the ride my seatbelt wasn't very tight. On the drops I literally floated in mid- air!!!! I highly reccomend this ride, although it is a little bit short. I found that the line wasn't really that long though.

The Tower of Terror is by far the best ride at California Adventures!!!! Last year I took my 80 year old grandma on it for her birthday. I was a little worried, but she loved it. When people ask her about it she smiles and says, "It's just an elevator."

Tower is a fantastic ride that has a wonderful story for the thrills. The build-up to the drop sequences is the best part. Lots of intricate details to look at in the queue, so you might want to just do Standby for Tower and skip Fastpass. The second best ride at DCA (Soarin' is #1).

While this attraction was good, it's NOT better then WDW's. DCA's 5th demention is not better,the lighting is a bit off and cartoony and the white hallway to the elevator is really stupid.

Its a great ride, but fails to live up to the original in WDW. The level of detail in the lobby is scaled way back, and the absence of the 4th dimension room (which is my favorite part in the MGM version)is a let down.

Excellent ride. One of the best in the Disneyland Resort. Best time to ride ToT. At night, just before the park closes. Gives a certain feeling to it.

Good as it's own ride, but when compared to the original, fails to live up to a high standard. The details in the lobby are good, but outdoor queue is horrible. Great thrill ride, glad to have it at DCA, and some cool unique effects, but IMO, Soarin is still the best thing at DCA

This is the best ride i have ever been on. Its so much fun. Good Job Disney. My first time riding it was April 30, 2004 a couple days before my birthday and I LOVED IT! Oh the cleverness in Disney!

I live in Orlando, and I can vouch that the DCA version is a worthy Tower of Terror and is top of the line! It is a little too short but that's forgivable

Certainly the best attraction at DCA and now one of the best at the Disneyland Resort. Lot's of fun! Wish it was longer.

There's plenty of "Disney" details to enjoy in this version of the Disney/MGM Studios original. The lobby, library pre-show, boiler room, all top notch. But the few (over too quick) scenes in the shafts make this 2 minutes and 15 second trip too short. Not a "4 best" rating .. but a solid "3" in my book. Another "show room" sequence would have sent this over the top! No pun intended. ;)
