I was sad to see the Country Bears go but I am a Winnie the Pooh fan so I enjoy this attraction. I'm drawn in by the charm of the outdoor queue area as it is a perfect fit in Critter Country. I love the design of the ride vehicles and appreciate the tribute to the Country Bears inside the attraction. I do wish the ride lasted a little longer and offered more detail so I think there is some room for improvement. Nonetheless, it's pleasant for all ages and gives the little ones something to enjoy while the big kids play on Splash Mountain.

BRING BACK THE COUNTRY BEARS JAMBOREE!

User ID: USCSurfer   Thrill: 3  Theme: 4  Overall: 3 (1/22/2008)
A cute, colorful attraction. Added detail and technology would make it even better. Still, Pooh is #2 in my book....behind Mickey, of course.

Q: Do you know why Piglet smells so bad? A: He plays with Pooh. Sorry. Anyway, I can't ride this one without thinking about how it was installed to replace the vastly superior Country Bear Playhouse. Ah, well, Pooh sells better I guess. I wish they'd put a new Country Bear Playhouse in California Adventure.

Very good ride for tired feet, i go on this after Splash Mountain to make my mom happy. Always has a short wait time. P.S. i miss the country bears, and you can still see part of it if you have open eyes.

This was such an adorable ride that you can't say anything bad about it! I like how everything appears to look like a dream like apperance!

i know many people do not care for this attraction, but i like it. the outdoor waiting area is nice and the ride is a nice way to spend a few minutes.

Looks like a cool but strange dream. But it's great on a hot day because of the air conditioning.

User ID: monorailblue   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (8/1/2006)
Pooh is not much of an Attraction; mildly interesting, but not at all memorable. Visit it if you are nearby, as it is out of the way, but don't make a special trek just to ride.

User ID: DiSneyLuVah   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (7/6/2006)
When i went on this ride with my friends, we were screaming on the whole ride yelling," We Love You POOH!!!" But about the ride, it was fun, but i kind of got scared during the Heffalump part because it was really freaking me out. But overall, i love Pooh's Birthday scene. It was a fun ride to sit back and relax.

User ID: markedward   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (6/26/2006)
I was disappointed to see how much this attraction scared our two year old. Pooh is most very young children's favorite Disney storyline. But the ride is too intense for many under-threes.

User ID: Shadow wolf   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (3/5/2006)
This attraction is ok, it really pales in comparision to WDW's and TDl's Pooh.

User ID: halley123   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (12/9/2005)
Winnie the Pooh was always my favorite disney movie. I love this ride

Fun for all ages.

User ID: peiell   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (6/11/2005)
Definitely freakier than the Haunted Mansion. The line is nice and short though.

Haha this is where Pressler and Harris left their mark

User ID: MrsNavarro   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (3/8/2005)
Well... It's nice. Pretty colors and Pooh is a classic, but I perfer the Country Bear Jamboree. Bring back the Bears!

User ID: DCJohnRoss   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (12/18/2004)
I had the PLEASURE of working this attraction, and although it doesn't have the excitement of a roller coaster, the times had here on the river truely bring us back to the gold ole days where you had the privelage of depending on yourself for survival. Of course it's not like that now-a-days, but it's still relaxing and gets you away from those Disneyland lines for 15 minutes. By far the most desired ride to work at. Truthfully!! To work on the Rivers of America in the sun and hang out one-on-one with the quests really is Sublime.

Great ride for little ones as it is slow, easy and not scary. It is also wonderful for the avid Pooh lover. I find it better than the Country Beat attraction.

User ID: The_Princess_Ariel   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (10/3/2004)
Okay, seriousley, I don't even think little kids like it. It's slow and I prefer the Country Bears. You have to be on acid or something to enjoy it (I'm not a drugie so I probably wont ever find it interesting).

User ID: sandman   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (8/14/2004)
I'm glad I dont have to make my kids sit through country bears like I used to have to. Winnie The Pooh is alot better.

User ID: birdie   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (8/14/2004)
My 3yr old licked our car b/c it looked like honey-I thought it was fun and liked the wind effects. We just like how shady and pretty critter country is and this ride and the pooh corner store are good additions.

User ID: Disneyland_Princess   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (7/29/2004)
It's a bit short, and like ant other Fanasyland ride but afrter all it was enjoyable!

Very good for kids-10 year olds

User ID: mickeyrocks89   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (10/2/2003)
I think that this is a very cute, cool, and fun ride that was very well-done!

User ID: OC-Supertones4Life   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (8/15/2003)
the ride is great. when i went the line was really short. i think the fastpass was longer than the standby. its a great ride but its kinda short.

User ID: Mingus   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (8/4/2003)
it's a good ride, but I still think that I like the bear jamboree better!

User ID: Brer Doug   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (7/1/2003)
This ride Im sorry to say is only above average. I regret the fact that they removed the country bear playhouse to make a ride for a fat beat who eats honey why couldnt they put his ride elsewhere too?

User ID: Bonitajackie   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (5/30/2003)
I like this ride because it has tigger.

User ID: Brer Bunny   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (5/17/2003)
I thought this ride was really cute! Plus I luv Tigger!!

User ID: Rover   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (5/8/2003)
A perplexing series of colorful yet strangely cheap looking vignettes present a confusing look at the beloved Pooh characters. Disney is capable of creating something much cleverer. A blustery day, then a nightmare, then a birthday party? I just don't get it. Some isoated effects are charming and the "floating" car effect is effective, but the overall result falls short of every expectation.

User ID: MaryJo   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (5/5/2003)
I thought the ride was cute, and typical of Fantasyland dark rides - I think it is a very good ride for the younger set.

User ID: MaryJo   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (5/5/2003)
Loved it. Sang through the whole ride

User ID: Futurist   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (5/3/2003)
It is not Disney's best efforts, but for quaint 1960's dark-ride standards it is not bad. It could be a tad longer. The sets and figures for 2003 standards could be more animated & more elaborate ... but it is what it is, thanks to the current bare-bones mentality at the top in Disney. Avoid the rear seat as it hinders your view. Overall, it gives me a smile & chuckle. But not much more than that.

User ID: michaels   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (5/1/2003)
Possibly good for kids. I do like the neon/blacklite, however. As an adult, though, the ride was somewhat cheap looking. Also, the cars are not great for two reasons, (1) I sat in the thrid row and my knees hit uncomfortably against the row in fornt of me, (2) in the third row the "shell" makes it difficult to see the displays. the music was QUITE loud as well.

User ID: Sherron   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (5/1/2003)
Cardboard cutouts? Flat characters? This is a Disney attraction?

I couldn't believe my eyes! What a dissapointment! This was not worth the bother of waiting in line for. It looks like more effort and imagination was spent on making the wait in line more appealing than was spent on the ride itself.

Not for adults, not for kids, not for anyone. :(

User ID: misteriago   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (5/1/2003)
Depressingly short and cheap looking, like the rides at DCA's Flik's Fun Faire. The ride vehicles are very large and oddly shaped, making for difficult sight lines, especially for younger riders. After the initial hype (and insane lines) dies down, this will be a passable attraction for the 2 to 6 set, but for no one else. Disney used to be so much better than this.

User ID: roberts1398   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/30/2003)
I liked it! It may not be high-tech, but it's very colorful, with beautiful audio. Very enjoyable dark ride.

User ID: utahjosh   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/29/2003)
Not bad. Probably just what you expect.

User ID: ni_teach   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/29/2003)
While very young kids will like it most adults will be disappointed in it lack of depth and detail. It fit into the bottom percent of the Disneyland dark rides. Also, get a fast pass because it’s not worth a long wait.

User ID: OneWorldOneMouse   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (4/29/2003)
TIGGERIFIC I love the bouncy bit and the floating bit and the... all of it is just a great ride!

User ID: luvlucy121   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
Great for most ages...Cute for the youngsters and something new and interesting for the old timers who know Disneyland well. Similar to Snow White and Pinnochio but brighter and more positive feeling. Great new attraction at Disneyland!

User ID: goldenstate5   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
Cute for kids, but if you don't like plywood furnishings and static characters, you may want to walk on over to Toon Town. There you'll find Roger Rabbit, it's the same thing except better. But, remember: If you have kids, this is a must-see.

User ID: RetlawRR   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (4/28/2003)
A great ride that gets the story across through a series of well done, special effects filled scenes. Sure to please if your are not a middle aged internet-o-phile!

User ID: LilSimba   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (4/28/2003)
A confused journey into the 100 acre woods, this ride was hampered by severe budgetary issues. While the music is wonderful, the layout is awkward (combining the blustery day and rainy day in one room - hurricane season, perhaps?) and the blacklit colors are used in every room and detract from the tenor of the Pooh stories they are supposed to depict. The characters portrayed, while intending to be stuffed animals, come off as hardwood carvings, and move in poor repetitive motions. This ride also suffers from being far too short, however it's load area looks wonderful.

User ID: Brimo_Pitapan   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
I thougtthat it was cute and accomplished what it set out for with it's modest budgets- It made my day better. I thought it was imaginative and peaceful, and was a littl tame and could have used some bouncing, copliments of tigger. t least it's not terrible, it's a great kiddie ride, and a good break from the park

User ID: imagineer1985   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 1 (4/28/2003)
i'll Take Roger Rabbit... (the previous Darkride built)
to big of sets that make you look around at all of the plywood. I guess it is "for kids" but so are the Fantasyland rides that I like... oh well..

User ID: trollinda   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
Bright, colorful, happy and even a few good effects! Always enjoy my trip through the Hundred Acre Woods! :-)

User ID: Brian954   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/28/2003)
This ride is way to short and not as nice as the Tokyo or WDW one, both of which I have been on.

User ID: BigJim89   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: Unrated (4/28/2003)
THe ride itself is ok, but not worth removing Toad or the Bears for. The ride vehicle is much nicer than WDW's version.

User ID: tiggerdl   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
I thought that it was exciting to see any new ride at Disneyland. It actually was very fun, and very detailed.
Despite the childish feel, the ride actually does a really good job at creating the visuals.

User ID: covnut   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
A fun and entertaining dark ride focused more towards the younger audience. There are some cool elements to it. It could always be nicer, but I think it is still great!

User ID: SpaceScreamin   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/28/2003)
Fun little dark ride. There seems to be too much wide open space that could be filled with more scenery. And no 'bouncing with Tigger' movement as at WDW.

User ID: lemisfan   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (4/28/2003)
I liked this attraction very much. Its a very classic pooh ride. And compliments disneyland.

User ID: Mickeys Gal   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 4 (4/28/2003)
Excellent dark ride & great family fun!

User ID: disneylover42   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 3 (4/28/2003)
nice bright colors for infants and toddlers

User ID: magic19   Thrill: Unrated  Theme: Unrated  Overall: 2 (4/28/2003)
Decent dark ride, but missing far too many show elements from WDW or Tokyo that would have been nice to have. The rain effects are nice and the sound is very well done, but otherwise, its underwhelming.
