The best themed mountain in Disneyland. I highly suggest 'single rider' if you don't want to wait in a long line. So much detail to enjoy I should probably ride twice in a row to see everything.

This is the #1 ride out of all the rides at Disneyland!!!!!! Use the single rider line because the wait will only be about 15-20 minutes!

One of the best rides in the park. Fantatic setting, characters, and songs. The drop itself doesn't get you as wet as the secondary wave as you come around the corner.

This is a really fun attraction. Representing a very cute movie. I think Walt would have loved this one, and he would have been proud of how well it represents. And that final drop (at night especially), is the best.

A very nice ride. I gotta admit, though, the jouney to the laughing place is a little scary in pitch black. The final drop is the best part.

The flumes steep drops and hard turns are just fun for 7 minutes. The ride seems to be really short. The minute busters are the climbs up to the top.

This is one of the great classics. Life doesn't get much better than a zippity do dah ride on Splash Mountain. The ride isn't scary to me, but I love it just the same. Also go buy Song of the South on Ebay, it helps explain the ride's story.

Excellent water flume attration themed after Disney's Song of The South. I love the calm floating around the mountain portion before entering the dark ride portion. Shocking pitch-dark section in middle is unforgettable! NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

Holy Cow! This is probably MY favorite ride in DIsneyland! I love it! I'm a thrill seeker, and even though it's so charming and adorable, it have AWESOME drops. Okay, before I start there are three lies you cannot say on Disneyland's famous ride Splash Mountain.

1. I did not get wet (abviously)

2. I didn't scream

3. I did'nt have a zip-a-dee-doo-da time

Now, as I was saying this is a fun-filled ride with over a one hundered different audio animatronic characters with cute little scenes and songs. Watch out for old brer Fox he might catch off guard through out the ride! There are four different drops each with a little a plunge that leaves you soaked to the bone. Get a fastpass, be prepared to get wet, and say hello to brer Rabbit for me y'all hear? Have fun!

I used to hate Splash Mountain as a kid (didn't like getting wet), but now, I really like it. The story, the look of the ride, and the iconic drop make up one of the best Disney experiences. Make absolutely sure you get a Fastpass or get to Splash early. The line can be atrociously long.

This is the best ride at Disneyland EVER!!! This ride is the best to get Fastpass on because the line is like realy long. So get Fastpass because when i went with my friends, we got the Fastpass ticket and when we came back, it just took 1 min. because we had to run to the attraction because it was so deserted on the Fastpass. lane. So we were very lucky. When we got to the drop, it felt like i was falling out from the sky. I always go there when i visit. It is a MUST SEE!!!

My all time favourite attraction at Disneyland. Others too apparently. It was the only fast pass attraction I saw where the return was more than two hours. On our first day I got fast passes at 4 and our return was 10:30. Thank goodness for fast pass

If you want to be scared out of your wits, this is the ride for you! A 50 foot drop, and lots of singing, I mean, LOTS of singing. I like the vultures though. You'll see what I mean when you go! A definate must for thrill-seekers.

Splash mountain is amazing! I went to Disneyland before the bad rain storms and I loved it! IT was my first time too. However this ride has to be the first of the day, becuase if the line reaches the entrance near the haunted house its close to a 3 hour wait. If it starts neat the Winnie the Pooh ride its about and 1 1/2 wait. The line moves very slowly b/c of the way the layout is. They should close Splash Mountain and figure out a way to have more poeple go on per hour so we can have shorter waits. GET FAST PASSES early. They sell out around noonish on busy days. Other than that this RIDE RULLES!!

MY NO. 1 RIDE IN DISNEYLAND! This is one of the best additions Disney has done for DL. Me and my hubby like to ride this one the MOST. We end up using a lot of our FASTPASSES for this ride alone. We always buy the picture at the end on our very last ride of the day. SHHH, but Zip-pi-dee-doo-dah is the ringtone on my cell phone :)

everyone in my family (including me) is terrified of heights. riding this the first time my ever loving parents chose to divert my attention from the final drop until i was right on it. OH MY GOSH IM GONNA DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! at the end im frozen and shaking then i have one thing left to say: "CAN WE GO AGAIN?!?!?!" absolutely terrific. id give 5 if they had that :)

Rode "Splash Mountain" for the first time the day the radio stations had their remotes to celebrate it's opening (travelled there with the morning show from KKLZ 96.3 here in Las Vegas). Absolutely loved it from the start. ALWAYS must HAVE the crazy photo as the best souvenir of each visit! (You know the drill, Disneyanaphites! Look to the right and GRIN at the camera! ;-)

A great ride and one of the park's best although unlike the Matterhorn, not totally original as Knott's and Six Flags built a log ride before this one. Also, many of the audio-animated characters are from the former Disneyland attraction called "America Sings."

Quite possibly the BEST ride yet, in Disneyland. Every year when I go to Disneyland this is the first ride I want to go on when I arrive. But when your not used to riding rollercoasters or anything with sudden drops, be careful.... (That last drop, it's a douzy!!!)

the best ride in disneyland.I love the entertaining animatronics.the drops inside the mountain are very fun especially the one that goes down then up. The coziness of the backwoods of critter country adds so much to this ride. this ride, the mountains, and indy are the best rides in disneyland.This ride is a true classic and a true must see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first time I went on Splash mountain was when it was dark and I practilly had to be dragged on to it. I seriously thought I would hate it but after that drop your like WOW LETS DO THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!! I am now proud to say that I am an annual visitor to both parks and especially to this attraction. Word to the wise.....Ride in front for the best view of the park its really pretty until you realize you are plumeting down a very steep hill plus it's the wettest seat!!!!!

Splash Mountain is a good ride because it has alot of details with the animated characters, I alway anticpate the last Hill which makes it even more exciting at least for me. It is a very popular attaraction mainly during the summer months when its so hot and they want to keep cool

Not the greatest of all Disney rides, but still fun. It's a little hard to understand the theme, plot, and so on. The animation is so simplistic it's boring. But it does have a great soundtrack! And that counts for a lot

This is what Disneyland is all about....elaborate sets,special effects, AA figures...(salvaged from a doomed Carousel Theater show that ultimately never belonged in the land of the Future.) Though, I think it travels a bit too fast through the main show building, and too much emphasis on making the final drop..The world's steapest, tallest, longest, etc. Not necessary. A wonderful package that continued the tradition of Themed Environment Adventures. If you don't like getting wet...don't forget your poncho.....because you're gonna need it!;-)

I love this ride! Whenever I ride it I find myself grinning like the chesire cat. It has great theming, and I like the fact that I don't see everything as I ride it. That's one of Disney's charms is that you always see something different on their rides.

It's good to see a dead show's cast doing something..the ride's good, but I often find it's not worth the line to spark my memory of America Sings..I really don't like how your in and out of the scenes so quickly. You need to ride it atleast 3-2 times to see all there is to see. But aside from the irratable seating, this ride tops off the WDW version..I think anyway.

A Great ride showing "You Can" recycle other attractions and not throw things
away,once another project is over. Saving Marc Davis's creations enhances the ride. America Sings could run so long,thank's to Tony Baxter and Bruce,these critters will be aroud for a long-long time ! Their "Clones" are in Orlando-Japan and eventually France.

Although WDW's version offers more detailed theming and a stronger storyline, I prefer the original at DL. At its heart, Splash Mt. is still just a flume ride. Side-by-side seating doesn't really work on flumes, at least not for me. DL's turns are quicker; the drop is higher and steeper. Wheeee! And I love that Rainbow Caverns tribute!

Another Tony Baxter-headed project, Splash is a great Disneyland attraction - although I am not big on water rides - and is always a favorite with guests. Its arrival prompted the name of the area to change from Bear Country to Critter Country in the late 1980s.
