This is everything that disney is supposed to represent. The Past, Present, and Future. A true classic. I havent seen the updates yet (114 days to go!) but am looking forward to it. There is an educational side to it, but you are so busy trying to take in everything in the beautiful scenes that you dont even notice you are learning something.

This is my daughter's favorite ride at Disney World. I thought it was better before. Lots of similar stuff, but I think the end is cheesy and uninspired. Where's all the cool future things? Granted, most of the future things they had before are here now, but rides need to be updated at least once every 30 years anyway...

Epcot wouldn't be Epcot w/o this amazing ride! We begin and every visit to the park with a ride on Spaceship Earth - I can't wait until the renovations are complete :)

I have said before that it is an experience to go to Disney as a child and then go again many years later as an adult. I finally understand what this ride is all about, but the magic is still just as strong. It's a good intro to what Epcot is all about, progress and change. Impressive, and I understand that it keeps growing.

I gave it a 3. I thought this ride was a relaxing ride, I liked all the showing of things around the world, and really loved the part with the little Japanese Modern girl. Go Japan! lol

I gave this a 4. Although I used to like Horizons and WoM (R.I.P. both) more than SSE this feels like the last bastion of classic Epcot. Still a great dark ride that is LONG where you can relax and just enjoy. I have a fear of heights at times and while ToT doesn't scare me I still get a little jittery when you're at the top of the ball (inside) and can see the top of the dome in the space scene and realize how high we are :-p

Anyway, great ride don't miss it at Epcot. But here's a tip, do it later on in the day maybe after lunch - a lot of people rush to this first thing and it's just about the only time you'll encounter more than a 5 minute wait. The constantly (sort of "Your time vehicle has momentarily stopped") moving track keeps the line flowing pretty steadily and it's one of the best places to beat the mid-day heat.

From the time my kids first experienced Spaceship Earth (10 years ago) to the present (yound adults), this has been their favorite ride at Epcot! Every time we go, we end up riding it 4 or 5 times (at a minimum). The best!

The best, most relaxing ride in all of Epcot. I'm still amazed at how the printing press got in there and how all those scenes fit in the sphere. The only problem with the ride (and it is the only one) is the bumpy track.
Combined with the hard plastic head rest it makes for a slightly uncomfortable ride.

It may not be the most thrilling ride in the park, but that's not how I look at Epcot. Spaceship Earth is to Epcot as Cinderella's Castle is to Magic Kingdom. Plus, as tradition for us, it's a must!

For a lack of better words, this attraction is an amazing classic. I cannot go to Epcot Center without riding Spaceship Earth. I true Imagineering marvel. You must ride or you can't truely experience Epcot Center (especially now that we don't have Horizons or World of Motion---for those of you who dont know, they were replaced by Mission:SPACE and Test Track). You can't miss Spaceship Earth!

This ride is a MUST DO for me everytime hubby and I are at EPCOT. As a matter of fact, this is the first we do before anything else in EPCOT.
I miss Walter Cronkite's voice, but Jeremy Irons doesn't do a bad job at all!

The exhibit is a tad aged, but, unlike almost anything else you can find in the popular world, it puts the present in perspective of the long past. Most people seem to want to forget about that, or not think about that. It is important to think about it. So, the exhibit serves.

We love this ride,AWSOME !!This was better before they revamped it but I am glad it is still here. I just hope it doesn't go by the wayside like Horizons and Motion. We always looked forward to riding these attractions and now there is only one left. Please don't replace it!!!!I do think it would be nice to get rid of the wand, hand , and EPCOT sign outside.

Great ride! need to update the animatronics though..these ones are starting to show their age. ive been on this ride hundreds of times and still to this day look foward to going on it..yeah the cars are loud, caus the track is steel and the motors that carry the train are so powerful they can only go so fast at so many RPM's. if ur ever interested just look over the side of ur car and you can see them every few feet...

Greatest EPCOT attraction. I rode Spaceship Earth over 10 times at last visit. The only thing I dislike about it is that shrill, annoying, loud announcement by the female voice at the end about the New Global Neighbourhood. Ouch.

Great ride. The going down backwards part is sort've uncomfortable though. Kinda strange if you get stopped in the top dome part. But it NEEDS ANOTHER REFURBISHMENT! I could barely hear the narration because off the loud creaking and groaning

This attraction reflects Walt's original EPCOT vision (too bad it was -never built- <ahem>).

I especially miss the original version, the one with the musical theme "Tomorrow's Child". At least I still have this & others on my WDW CD from the early '90's. <sigh>

One of the greatest inspirational attractions of my lifetime. Certainly ranks high in American landmarks. Good to see the Alucabond "stainless" facet panels haven't oxidized or tarnished throughout it's 20 year age. Most of the animatronics are actually exact copies of the Hall of Presidents with different hairstyles and clothes. It's fun to compare which animitronic matches which President.

Another fan mentioned that he misses the futuristic city scene at the end. That was actually the end of the World of Motion ride. Another fan mentioned the great amount of fiber optic lighting that he's ever seen. The most fiber optic lights used for any attraction in WDW is the El Rio Del Tiempo in the Mexico Pavillion

This is a fitting tribute to the late Bucky Fuller, the positive futurist who not only invented its geodesic design, but also coined the term "Spaceship Earth." Get rid of the @&#%
Epcot sign. It ruins the symmetry.

There is nothing like the nostalgic Disney feel from SE. Both narators are great. You get transported back to the heart of Disney Magic. I love to ride it everytime I'm there.

This is a great ride. A very neat atmosphere and monologue that kind of soothes the imagination. I remember my family bothering me when I was a kid, telling me I looked like the little boy yelling: "Extra, Extra New York Daily..."

I really enjoy this ride, it is part of the essence of WDW. There's always a magical feeling the first time you see the big ball in the distance when you get to WDW. I liked Walter Cronkite a little bit better, but it's still good. Very relaxing, and the ride down backwards at the end always seemed neat when I was younger.

Still a fascinating attraction, and very educational as well. I always like to ride this at least twice each visit. As for Jeremy or Walter - both narrators have been great.

The 'golf ball' that the world knows! My favorite ride at EPCOT. The 2000 was great for the promotion, but wich the name would not be put on now. It takes away it's magic!

Whenever I visit EPCOT I always ride Spaceship Earth multiple times. It intrigues me how they fit the ride to the dome. A nice feel good ride for a hot afternoon. May need to be updated soon but still enjoyable. I like the possibiities it shows for worldwide communication.

An excellent ride! The finale, which shows the Earth from the moon, is fantasic! It, single-handedly, makes Epcot Center my favorite Disney Park!

It always seems like a monumental part of any Disney vacation when I first pass through that doorway into Spaceship Earth. The ride itself always manages to move me, simply because it is a quintessential part of any Walt Disney World vacation. (I eagerly anticipate the smell which accomanies the sack of Rome.)

This is one of my favorite Disney attractions. It uses animatronic figures, and dramatic sets as well as special effects to tell the story of human communication. Everyone on here keeps saying to update it. PLEASE NO, look at how they "update" Imagination. If that's how they update things, hands off for now :-)

THIS IS WHAT DISNEY DOES BEST! Spaceship Earth is one of the greatest "Dark Ride" experiences ever to come out of the creative minds at Imagineering. Packed with all the great things that set Disney theme parks from the rest; Audio Animatronics, lots of special effects, a great narration, and a nice ride system that takes you through so many intriguing rooms. An amazing journey....with "story telling." It would be a huge mistake to do to this as was done to World of Motion; gut it in favor something that has to go 60 mpg. Long live Spaceship Earth!

An incredible attraction, Spaceship Earth showcases more fiber optics than any other attraction I've seen! Wonderful narration and one of the only Disney attractions that features scents to intensify one of its scenes.
