In an unusual choice for Disney, this attraction pokes fun at itself and it's dated effects. The landscaping and theming along the river is quite nice. Although the ride could use some sprucing up to keep up with the times, to some extent the fact that it's much the same as it was back in 1971 adds to the fun.

I'll have to disagree with rshaul. This ride wouldn't be the same without the skipper's jokes and they are a little monotonous but I wouldn't say unfunny. The animatronic snakes, monkeys, and tigers in the cave ARE quite impressive as well.

Another great way to relax, but kind of tame after riding Kilimanjaro Safari. The guide's narration is so cliche it's hilarious.

It all depends on the guide. And quit saying its dated. It clearly isn't. It exists with the sole purpose of being dated. To feel that it being dated detracts from the attraction gives me the impression that the attraction goes totally over peoples heads.

Actually this ride is much better at night it gives the Jungle cruise a much better effect since its darker and at least the animals arent asleeo either I like this ride alot too you wiseguys

This is a nice ride which offers diversity during the course of the day. Good scenery. Definately fastpass it or the wait could be long.

I don't want to seem old or crotchety, but I swear this ride used to be more fun. Your enjoyment really depends on how good your pilot is, and the last few times I rode it, they seemed less than enthused.

Great thing to do if you need to take a break from walking. I've memorized the script to the ride because I've done it too many times! The best time to hit ADVENTURELAND is during SpectroMagic and the fireworks, because close to nobody is there!

A CLASSIC. I love this ride and it can remain this way for ever. But if Disney wanted, they can add some new things like Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch and even Jungle Book...or all of them. It would give the ride something new. But I love this ride especially with a good guide.

I think the Jungle cruise is the best ride in Walt Disney World. What makes it the best are the skippers and how they can bring it to life.

if you get an interesting guide then this ride can be made one of the best rides there! last time i went we got this awesome guide who made jokes and overall made the ride waaaay cooler than it was!!! it rocked!

A Disney classic.. we usually ride this one every other trip, which makes it really fun for the kids and keeps it fresh. Should it be updated? When I look at it, I say yes. But when I look at my kids faces as they ride throught it, I say no! They just love the Disney magic...

With the tour-guide's corny pun-filled jokes and asides how can any one not like this ride? This is classic Disney theme park at it's best. I hope my kids and (in the very FAR future) grandkids can enjoy it for a long time to come.

Good ride! Some jokes aren't really funny, but you can enjoy it. The animatronics are awesome! I ride when I happen to be near it; or there's a short line.

Didn't really have the Disney flare I hoped for considering the boat driver spent over half the ride telling us about how much she hated being there.
Perhaps Disney should look into better quality control in Adventureland. Besides that, it is another one of those rides that will always be a Disney staple. It lacks in the thrills and chills but I doubt thats what Walt or the Imagineers really had in mind.

The seats are weird, and it's strange to look at the scenery all around. I think the seats should be regular like at Universal's Jaws.

This is a WDW classic. I've ridden lots of times, and the jokes never change but the reactions of the riders do. Sometimes you can be with a great group, and even though you've heard the jokes a hundred times they're still funny. Other times you get with a boatload that is either shy, exhausted, or too "cool" to act goofy, and the ride is a bust. Either way, you can't go to the MK and not ride this ride.

Gad! Those jokes! Rode it twice and I was amazed that both times were fun and different. The CMs can really get into the spiel with the right crew. It ain't AK's Safari but it isn't supposed to be. I was looking forward to the hippo shooting and was dissapointed it was missing.

Some Cast Members are getting too jaded. They just don't keep this ride fresh and exciting. I have had 2 experiences where they didn't even try to entertain. Perhaps Disney needs to refresh the ride or change the CM more often!

It might be just me, but this Cruise seems better than the D'land version. Our guide was fun and we had a little repartee going back and forth between the scripted lines.I think everyone enjoyed that trip.

I thought this was a slightly better version of Disneyland's opening day classic. The three guides I experienced on a recent visit however weren't quite as sharp as the Disneyland norm, but that can be the luck of the draw. The temple scenes were a fun surprise, and the ride seemed well maintained. But they skippers didn't shoot at the hippo's like they do at Disneyland!

A GREAT version of the Disneyland Classic, Florida's Jungle Cruise is actually a bit more detailed and so, a bit better than its counterpart in Anaheim. A definite must for all WDW visitors!
