Great for the whole family but not always worth the wait. It can be ridiculous and it is best to go in the early morning or during the extra magic hours. Actually, all of the rides are great to hit right when the park opens as crowds are still trying to sleep. A must while in WDW.

This ride had the advantage of not existing when I was younger, so I rode it for the first time last year. I kept wondering when the big drop would come. It was fun the second time, also, but not as thrilling. Just enjoyed the scenery and danced to the music.

My son's favorite ride when he was 7. I am not a roller-coaster type because I hate drops, so I closed my eyes the every time there was a drop (3 small ones, 1 BIG one). But it was very fun and you WILL get wet, not only from the BIG drop at the end but also from the seats that are wet from the previous ride! Cute story line and my son told me to look for Br're Rabbit just before the big drop. (But of course, I was closing my eyes and missed him!) Great fun. Worth the wait.

I love, love, love this ride. My little sister who is afraid of heights loves this! She actually likes the drop, since the characters comfort her in a way. The music is awesome, the characters are nicely done, and the drop allows you to see practically the whole park.

man i wish i could give this ride a 10! it is so much fun! this ride has like 40 annamatronics. i remember riding this ride for my first time, i loved it, and on the big drop (5 story drop) i was screaming so loud i felt like people in tomarrowland could hear me. a must see at the magic kingdom

This is one of the best rides in the park. More of a modern classic. It takes the dark boat ride elements of IASW and PotC and mixes them with some thrills. It's a longer ride too!

This is one of our favorite attractions at DisneyWorld. Dad and younger son spent the latter parts of two E-Ride nights just riding this over and over. It will always be fondly remembered!

Less fun if there's a long wait in line but, then, stay on property and do the E-Ride!

The best ride at Disney World. Gets perfect marks for combining a log flume with a story from a Disney classic. Combines the thrills and spills of a log flume with music and amazing scenery as you make your way through the laughing place and into the briar patch. Excellent way to cool off on those hot Disney days.

Great ride. Completely tells the story of Brer Rabbit and his encounters with Brer Ber and Brer Fox. Fast Pass is inevitable if you want to get on this bad boy! (There are a lot of other drops inside the mountain, other than the big one!)

I really have a hard time waiting in line for this ride. The lines always seem too long and it is extremely cramped in the covered area of the line. If your clausterphobic and are a little impatient, you could lose it by waiting. The only way I will go on this ride is by fastpass, hands down. I dont really like walking around Disneyland in wet pants either!!

This is our family's favorite ride at WDW, not because of the drop, but because of the music and audio-animatronics during the ride. We do love the drop, but each time we go on, we love the story-line more and more. The kids see something different with every ride, which brings out true disney magic. First time riders: make a point of riding more than once to appreciate the scenery!

Well, yeah I guess people do.I will admit, a huge DL fan is no where as bad as a huge WDW fan.But, this ride is a lil taller. Either way, 5 stories isn't that tall, but the briar patch adds to it.Now, our version has a lil section like a coaster, though.A bunny hop.I wonder why no one ever mentions that.

Actually both Splash Moutnains are great. DL is the first which gives it a special history. I like that you ride side by side in WDW and the last drop is a little bigger. Both are great!

You WILL get wet! The Audio-Animatronics are the 3rd best ever,(Sorry, American Adventure and Hall of Presidents are awesome.) The tunnel gets dark, but sing along as you plunge to the patch! If heavier people sit in the front, and your in back watch out; and vice versa. I've also heard about a hidden Fred Flintstone! B-)

My wife and I could have done nothing but ride this over and over again during our week long stay. The theming and music are perfect and we will return to WDW asap. I sincerely hope that there are no plans to ever update this ride. Its flawless just the way it is and I only hope that in 40 years its still there and the same.

Wonderful! Splash Mountain at WDW is a SPLASH! DL's version lacks the long-ness of this one and all the neat new features. Splash Mountain 2.0 forever. Then again, DL's version may get the better logs...

All I can say is that the line is way too long for this ride and all you do is twist and turn through it. Most people I know had a hard time enjoying the ride because of the extensive line. I highly recommend a FastPass unless you have hours to kill.

WOW! Is my response. This second generation Splash Mountain puts it above DL's by leaps and bounds. Slower through the showbuilding scenes. (Enough time to see everything) Better sets, better lighting, nice wide logs for better comfort. Overall, a superior version, and always a "never miss it" Attraction!

It's great really. It's really great that when itz really hot outside (and it gets hot!) you can go on this water ride get wet and all the while go through a movie.

I love this ride! he theming is spectacular, one of WDW's best. The drop isn't very scary, but I enjoy the ride for the great scenery and songs - they are all very catchy. Ride during the day and then again at night.

As a huge fan of log flumes, Splash Mountain is the absolute best. Not only is there the hue drop at the end, there's also the great "mini-drops" inside the ride and the tremendous storyline that goes along with it. My favorite ride in all of the Disney parks!

I just don't get this ride. I love the stories of all the Brer animals,
but there is little story here. For how long the ride is, they could have
made it the water version of Snow White. But the story gets lost in all the
cutesifying. I guess this is a ride for those that find Big Thunder Mtn
Railroad too scary.

One of the best rides in the MK. They took one of the best rides at Disneyland and made it 50% better. Nothing is more amazing then watching Bair Rabbit hop along with you.

Great theming even for those who don't know the story. Several small drops before the BIG one, I love to listen to first timers who say here it comes at least 4 or 5 times before it really comes. PS YOU WILL GET WET how wet depends upon where you sit & how big the passengers are

Better than the original at Disneyland, WDW's Splash is much larger and features much more comfortable logs in which riders sit side-by-side. The soundtrack seems a bit more isolated in the various scenes, but overall, the attraction is better throught-out and executed in Florida. Look out for the massive splash from the Briar Patch every few logs!
