A great themed playground for the kids. The actual rafts to the island are little more than just ferry boats. Couple of neat photo ops of Big Thunder from the fort.

A wonderful place to take the kids on the arrival day. Mom and Dad can chill while the kids shake out their wigglies.

It a great place to go to get away from the crowds. Kids love the caves, bridges and fort with guns. Reading the book helps to understand and enjoy the island.

We did Tom Swyer Isand this year and found with a really crowded park that this had a rather short line and it was a great way to make the most of our time without having to wait on those other dreadful lines in Frontierland.

Tom Sawyer Island is the perfect place to get away from it all! While the rafts to it are crowded, once you get there, there's plenty of space! Nice change of pace from the rest of the park.

Love this part of the park. Great way to have a break from the crowds. My two kids loved feeding the birds because they were practically eating out of our hands. Good little get away. Read our review about Aunt Polly's. Not what we thought it would be.

The rafts are always overcrowded. However, going to the island makes the ride worth while. There is so much for the kids to do on Tom Sawyer island and lunch at Pollys is always fun.

One of my favorite things to do on the first day of the vacation.. after being up all night the night before in anticiaption is to take this to the island and relax.

Without question the most overlooked and underpraised attraction at WDW. I believe one of the attractions with the most attention to detail, and definatly pays homage to Mark Twain's masterpiece

Wonderful getaway!!!!!! Its fun to play checkers on the docks and run around through the caves. When I think of wdw I think of this place. Great for all ages and a perfect place to get away from the crowds. Its everything I ever wished my backyard could be!

I love this place! Nothing better than relaxing for 30 minutes eating Apple pie and feeding the birds. (The caves rule too!)

The island is a great place for kids to run and explore, and it's definately worth a look by adults. It's very well done, Disney did a wonderful job with the atmosphere and scenery. It feels very reserved from the rest of the MK, it's a good respite but does require quite a chunk of time.

The Island looked like it would have been great to explore more of if only we had more time. We ate lunch at Aunt Polly's and looked around a little but had to skedaddle as we had to cross the park quickly to use our Fastpass for Buzz Lightyear.

Not much you can say about the rafts, but the island is great and so lush. This is another time when you need to stop and think you are in WDW not lost on the Mississippi some where.

A winner for the young ones, Tom Sawyer Island is a must to burn off some of that excess energy! Explore caves, hike along walkways and have a grand old time! No bells or whistles - just good ol' Disney fun!
