I recommend a late lunch or early dinner for a quiet meal. If you need assistance with carrying your tray, ask a Cast Member. They are happy to assist. Best Cobb Salad I've had anywhere. Eat outside and enjoy the Main Street atmosphere. Eat inside for a more old fashioned feel. Air conditioned.

The very best for a character breakfast...always nice to get into the park early and enjoy those made to order omellets and all the (somewhat over priced) goodies....the magic tends to evaporate as you proceed to lunch then dinner....so do the breakfast experience then walk it off the rest of the day.

We have started to eat here for almost every dinner meal. It beats the heck out of most of the other choices that are available - and the atmosphere cannot be beat. We especially love the Cobb Salad and the Chicken Dinners. Oh yes - free refills on the fountain drinks too.

If you get the right meal,it is a great value. We eat there at least once every time we are in Disneyland. I like the fried Chicken meal. It isn't very good for you ;), but the portions are HUGE. It is big enough for two. Sure you don't want to eat fried food that much, but once while I'm in the park can't hurt. If you want something healthy, they have have you covered with many other dishes, including some nice salads. The Plaza Inn is one of my favorite places to eat in Disneyland.

Oh my goodness. Did we all eat at the same restaurant? I visited Disneyland March 13th 2006 and decided to give the Plaza Inn a chance.
Boy, what a terrible experience. I actually went based on the recommendations found here. What a mistake! This was good fried chicken? Try dry and tasteless. My companion had the pasta option. It too was barely edible. About the only thing good about this place was the selection of desserts.
But, after paying $16 a person for such truly horrible food, we felt robbed. Avoid this restaurant at all cost. Go for dessert, but that's it.

My family and I love this place. We get the fried chicken platter!! The restaurant is nice and people are friendly. There can be a rather long wait to get your food but there is generally always seating! May not be as good as Grandma's but it's a close second.

Some of the best fried chicken you'll ever eat! I think the price is great for the portions that you get, 3 large pieces of chicken, a large pile of yummy mashed potatoes and gravy, really good green beans, and a biscuit! It's a lot of food, my husband and I get one plate with all white chicken (yes it's $2.00 more but worth it), and double mashed potatoes, then we each get a side salad! It's a very filling meal! It really is great chicken!

I really enjoy the Victorian atmosphere of this place - and getting lost in a fantasy is a big part of what Disneyland does best. Several users have mentioned the large portions. They're right! One of us got the pot roast meal; the other just got two vegetables; we split the pot roast; and had a pleasant filling meal for a lot less than you'd expect at Disneyland. Plus we weren't too stuffed to enjoy a snack in Fantasyland later ... but that's a different review.

Had another nummy dinner here on 4/6 ... but the only thing is I had been told that with the 3 pieces of chicken, you could choose the pieces you wanted. Not true. Getting all breast meat was an additional $2 charge AND they only gave you those two pieces, omitting the 3rd piece. But otherwise, as delicious as usual!

The character breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. The fare is standard breakfast, but VERY tasty and bountiful. While the characters are limited to the 4 Pooh characters, the interaction was TERRIFIC. As they were leaving, Piglet tried to kidnap my 7 yr old, much to his delight! Plus the kids got a balloon, which you can attach to identify your stroller later, LOL! Great experience.

Some of the best fried chicken you'll ever taste... and while expensive, includes your PICK of 3 pieces of chicken, which I'm told could include 3 breasts, if you choose! Big enough for two, to be sure!

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! We ate here for the character breakfast. First of all, the selection of food was larger than any buffet I've ever been to. The quality of the food was absolutely excellent-I was very surprised. And then there's the characters-we had them coming right to our table, each character stopping by several times, and none of them were in a hurry. They gave us plenty of time to take pictures and stuff. We'll be coming back here on every visit!

If you've got kids and you like a breakfast buffet, I guess this is alright. But to be honest, the value isn't all that great and there are much better character breakfasts to be had at Disney. Try the Paradise Pier Hotel for Minnie's breakfast which includes awesome made-to-order omelettes, or Storyteller's at the Grand Californian Hotel...both meals (IMHO) are better. Yes, with the Plaza your in the park (which is a plus), but that's about the only good thing about it.

This is a wonderfull restaurant. The menu is very good and the food is just a tasty. Plus, it provides the nice ammenties of a sit down place with out the wait. The interior is beautiful and on a warm summer's night the patio is a nice romantic getaway.

Always liked this place, sadly it was being refurbished during my last visit. I remember being able to actually watch some of the afternoon parades from here while eating!
