Had a great lunch here! It was fun watching diners get up and dance during the show. Food was delicious. A great way to cool off and have a fun meal. This is not a fast food experience. Allow plenty of time for this. Grins!

Another note: This happened to us by accident once, but we were the last seating for lunch one time and while we were still on Soup & Salad they started putting out the dinner menu food. The selections were different, but whn we got our check they billed us for LUNCH not dinner - which would have been at $10.00 more p/person. Since we saved $20.00 plus tax we added $10.00 extra dollars to the tip we going to originally leave.

We eat here once every time we come to Disney (which is 3 times p/year) The food is even better in the past 2 years then in years past - there was nothing wrong before, but they either have new cooks or new kitchen equipment. We've met wonderful people who enjoy tlaking to "strangers at the table" and we've been at tables with corpses. We chaulk it up to them being tired. No matter what your table mates are like, the overall fun & uniqueness of the place is worth the visit. Eat slow enough to see the "Show Band" at least once. They don't rush you, so we often see it twice per meal. (But if you do that - tip a little more since your waitress can't get more tables until her current one is empty)

A lot of meat and potatoes, very fun atmosphere. 50/50 on service, the server for our first meal there was excellent, our second trips server was inattentive.

i was surprised that my 7 yr old daughter loved this place. She loved the entertainment and the food. I liked it too. The food is of good quality and quantity, but not my fave.

The Biergarten is a buffet style restaurant where you also get to share your table with others. this of course also depends on your party size. I am a party of two, so I always have to share. Each time that I have eaten here, I have never had a bad experience. My table mates were fun! I am a very picky eater and each time I have eaten here, I have always found something that I love! What's nice about the buffet is that you can try many foods all for one price. I like that!

Wonderful place to experience different cuisine, but if you aren't comfortable with dining at a table with others, skip it. I've had wonderful experiences meeting other people, but of course there's always one bad apple, and he was a surly man who refused to allow anyone to sit within 2 seats of him. At his table, he was on one end and an unfortunate couple on the other had to sit across from one another because to sit side-by-side would have put them too close to him. I don't understand why he'd even bother going to WDW with such an attitude, but his money is as good as mine, I guess. The restaurant is fun, the entertainment is fun, and you come out of there full of great food and smiling!

If you love sausage, then this is the perfect place for you to go to. Because that's all they serve! All sauages, all varieties. NOT FOR THE PICKY EATERS. But it's a fun atmosphere. The live entertainment is great.

First German food rocks, second Liter Beers, third OOmpaa band. I think this is self explanitory. The restauraunt is a buffet so depending on your apetite it ranges from a little pricey to a great value. oh and did I mention liter beers.

The food in this restaurant is all MEAT. Also, be advised that there is only one vegetable on this buffet--a tomato (and that's it). Everything is S'nitzel this and S'nitzel that..oh, and sausage (sausage and more sausage)...Vegetarians need not apply. There may have been noodles with meat also. The best part was the live band--they rocked!
woo-hoo!

LOVED IT!!! It felt as if you were in the town square of a village in Bavaria. And the food was just like my grandmother would make. Absolutely fabulous.

This is probably one of my number one choices for food and atmosphere. Not just in Walt Disney World, but on Earth. That says a lot since my wife and I often travel the globe and have been to many countries, including Germany (which is where my family is from).

I took high school seniors here in 2003 and they loved the fact they got lots of food for their money and the show. Im taking another group again this year

If you time it right, and make PS reservations, and catch the show during your meal you'll maximize this place. If you've seen German OomPaPa before it's not much new. The buffet is good German faire if you like it. I happen to like the food more than the show. It's another lunch or dinner that completely breaks the day up. I love the change of culture.
