Being a vegetarian there's not much for me to eat here, but despite that the fun atmosphere makes this a great place to go every once in a while. The Peanut Butter and Jelly Shake is my favorite thing on the menu.

The atmosphere is great. Your whole entire experience depends on your server. If it is busy, and it usually is, you wont get much attention. The food isn't bad, but it isn't that great either. The best food is dessert as the menu is on a view finder. This is a noisy place, very kid friendly, but not at all romantic.

The amazing servers are the real attraction here. The food is good, not spectacular. The theming is very well done. But seeing somebody make my wife eat her veggies is priceless.

"Where's my meatloaf"...but say it under your breath, because Mom will bring it to you, but you better finish it all (including your veggies)or paying the bill will be the least of your worries. Fun atomsphere, fun "Moms"/servers, good food and great 50's primetime TV clips...GO, have fun and, wipe that gravy from your chin!

What a fun restaurant! We ate here on the third night of our trip, a Wednesday, and had a blast. We only had to wait about five minutes for a table, and we were seated right next to one of the televisions, which showed a loop of 50's sitcoms and Disneyland footage. We had the meatloaf, which was average at best. The s'mores that we had for dessert were delicious, though. If you have a good sense of humor, you'll definitely get a kick out of this place.

The food here was great. The service was great. However, I must say that I really don't enjoy being heckled by the staff, although that's what they're payed to do, while I am trying to enjoy a meal.

This place is just plain fun. The food is very good, but the staff is supurb. It was so much fun, we almost forgot we were there to eat. One of the most fun pictures I took is when our waiter made my wife hold her glass on her forhead while he poured her milkshake in it. It was definately a "Roll On The Floor Laughing" experience!!

I think the 50's Prime Time Cafe is a great place to dine. The first time I went Topher was my server. He made us set the table, take off out hats/visors, and told us no elbows on the table. My whole family enjoyed dinner. My dad was told he was going to sleep on rubber sheets since he was drinking to much iced tea. I was on an "Ally McBeal diet" since I ordered two appitizers. When I look back on our experience all I can do is laugh. Since our first time we have been back for a second helping..we did have a new waitress but she was also a good one.

This is a very interesting restaurant, because the waiters and cooks treat all of the guests as if they are all children at a 50's dinner table. When our party sat down (for the first time there too), our waitress through silverware and plates at us and said, "Set your table." Another one put a baby bib around my parents and I ended up having to sit in a high chair. It's funny, but kind of degrading and humiliating. I've not been a second time, but the food is great if you're looking for old fashioned home cooking.
