This is my favorite of Walt Disney World's two water parks. I'm not a slide person so it's all the other stuff that matters to me. The wave pool is great both when doing giant waves and bobbing waves. And Shark Reef is awesome (if you can handle the cold water). I think the atmosphere is better here as well as Blizzard Beach feels a little bit more like a regular water park while Typhoon Lagoon really feels like a water based theme park. But I do prefer the lazy river at Blizzard Beach a little more than the one here.
