Disneyland's 45th Anniversary - Parade 5

A youthful Simba rides on a golden chariot pulled by a triad of galloping golden giraffes. This is arguably the float with the best use of gold leaf. You're sure to be reminded of classic Greek and Roman fountains by this royal transport. On the back, a brilliant sun captures the heavy mane image of the adult Simba.

Five fanciful flamingos flapping furiously for fantastical fowl fun follow the ferocious feline fob. Terk, from Tarzan, is close by too and sometimes attempts to fly with the flamingos, which might explain the feathers in her hair.

Following Tarzan and Tantor are Donald and Daisy Duck in their Noah's Ark clothing. Behind them march an army of Disney characters from every era. Mixed in is the third group of performing guests.
