Disneyland is open from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving day. It's generally a crowded day with the crowds increasing considerably as the day goes on. The Christmas Fantasy Parade debuts on Thanksgiving Day.

Many of the Disneyland restaurants offer Thanksgiving items on their menu Thanksgiving day. In addition, the following restaurants around the Disneyland Resort have special Thanksgiving events:

Disney's PCH Grill, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel (formerly The Disneyland Pacific Hotel)
The Disney Characters will visit with guests at an all-you-can-eat holiday buffet. The feast will feature traditional holiday favorites and more, including free-range turkey, prime rib, honey-baked ham, salmon, leg of lamb, apple-raisin stuffing, chunky mashed potatoes, and sweet potato and yam gratin. Also served will be pineapple chutney, pumpkin pie, pumpkin chocolate bread, apple pie, cinnamon cheesecake and flan. Special items for kids will also be available.
Date: Thursday, November 23, Time: 1 to 9 p.m.
Price: $38.95 for adults, $13.95 for kids (ages 4-11), $3.95 for kids (age three and under).

Hook's Pointe & Wine Cellar, The Disneyland Hotel
In addition to the restaurant's regular menu, Hook's Pointe will serve a special three-course holiday menu. The menu features traditional roasted turkey dinner, marinated rib-eye steak, Pacific salmon, wild mushroom soup, pesto mashed potatoes, mixed green salad and a selection of seasonal desserts. Vegetarian selections are available upon request.

Granville's Steak House, The Disneyland Hotel
In addition to the regular menu, a special three-course meal will be offered for the holiday. The menu includes roasted turkey, stuffing, baked yams, sugar snap peas, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh cranberry relish and pumpkin cheesecake.

Price: $26.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids

Goofy's Kitchen, The Disneyland Hotel
Traditional holiday fare will be part of the all-you-can-eat buffet at this fun-filled experience with the Disney characters. The menu features hand-carved oven-roasted turkey with gravy, slow-roasted prime rib au jus, pineapple glazed ham, barbecue citrus ribs, fresh salmon with corn relish, stuffing, rice pilaf, baked yams, creamy mashed potatoes, brocollini with roasted tomatoes, sugar snap peas, fresh fruit bar, salad bar and dessert bar.
Date: November 23, Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch and 5 to 9 p.m. for dinner
Price: $26.95 for adults, $9.95 for children (ages 4-11), $3.95 for children three years and under.

A Disney Hometown Thanksgiving Feast, The Disneyland Hotel
A wealth of traditional holiday fare will be part of this popular and elaborate all-you-can-eat buffet hosted in the hotel's Grand Ballroom. The menu includes hand-carved oven-roasted turkey with gravy, honey glazed ham, carved round of beef, jumbo shrimp, creamy mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, salads and a crepe station. Also offered will be fresh bread, pastries, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, tarts, cookies, chocolate mousse, ice cream and fresh fruit. A special buffet for children features macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, hot dogs and hamburgers.
Date: November 23, Time: 2 to 8 p.m.
Price: $46 for adults, $13.50 for children (ages 3-11). Children under three are free.
