December 5th Events
At 11:30 a.m.guests are invited to join Disneyland Resort
President Cynthia Harriss at the hub for a redidication of the "Partners"
statue. Also on hand will be legendary Imagineer John Hench and Academy Award-winning
composer Richard Sherman as Disneyland honors Walt Disney in story and song. Click here for coverage of the "Partners" rededication
The December 5th birthday celebration will inaugurate a years worth of special "Walts 100th" extras at the Disneyland Resort. Nostalgic photographs of Disney at Disneyland will appear in shop windows along Main Street, U.S.A. Restaurants throughout Disneyland park will highlight menu items that were Disneys favorites, and will add special Walt Disney menu items and desserts. Shops in Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, along with the World of Disney shop in the Downtown Disney District, will offer a variety of products and limited edition merchandise, including collectible pins, related to the "100 Years of Magic" created by Disney.
On December 5th only, Disneyland park guests may purchase a mini-anniversary cake with Walt Disneys image and a souvenir button at the Blue Ribbon Bakery on Main Street, U.S.A.

One Man's Dream
One Mans Dream," a film celebration of Walt Disneys life and
work, will begin an extended run in the Disney Animation Screening Room at Hollywood
Pictures Backlot in Disney's California Adventure on December 5th.
Merchandise
Items created to celebrate Walt Disney's 100th birthday will be available at the
Disneyana shop at Disneyland including a limited edition black & white art photo of
Walk walking through the castle, poster featuring black & white images of Walt,
postcards, paperweights, key chains and more.
Also to celebrate Walt Disney's 100th birthday a series of
limited-edition pins featuring images of Walt Disney throughout Disneyland will be
released. The first pin in the series will be released at Disneyland's Disney Showcase and
Disney's California Adventure's Treasures In Paradise. Pins will be $8.50. An annual
passholder's limited edition pin (5000) will also be released on the 5th at the Disney
Showcase. This pin will be sold for $8.50. Limit five pins per Annual Passholder. Must
present a valid Annual Passport at time of purchase.
