Celebrate Walt's 100 Birthday at Walt Disney's Carolwood Barn, Griffith Park, Los
Angeles, at the Los Angeles Live Steamers. Map and directions available at www.carolwood.com. Free parking, free
admission and free cake! There'll also be free copies of Walt Disney's Happy Place
book by Michael Broggie to the first 100 attendees. You're also invited to bring item or
letter for Walt's Centennial Time Capsule--to be opened in 2101.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Scienes
December 5, 8 p.m.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will pay tribute to Walt Disney with an
event at 8p hosted by Leonard Maltin in Los Angeles. Tickets are available to the public
at $5 each.

Marceline, Missouri
The town will celebrate Walt Disney's 100th birthday on December 5th with a
variety of activities including free showings of the two Disney movies that premiered in
Marceline, The Great Locomotive Chase and The Spirit of Mickey. The city also plans to
release 100 floating candles with birthday wishes for Walt in the Ripley Park pond.
