WDW Guide - Epcot Attraction Guide

In 1981, a massive structure began to rise high into the Central Florida skyline. After 26 months of construction, visitors to Walt Disney World found themselves in the shadow of Spaceship Earth, a massive silver and white geodesic sphere looming 180 feet high and 165 feet wide; the newest icon for Walt Disney World and the gateway to Disney's most ambitious theme park ever, EPCOT Center. On October 1, 1982, EPCOT Center opened at Walt Disney World, spanning several hundred acres and featuring two distinct sections: Future World, where huge pavilions showcased the technology and promise of the future and World Showcase, a massive collection of pavilions depicting various countries placed around a 40-acre "Showcase Lagoon." As we enter the new Millennium, Epcot continues to carry on the traditions and dreams of its creators almost two decades later. Epcot is a celebration of life and the human spirit, presented only the way Disney can do it.

The Epcot attraction guide lists and describes every attraction in the park. Every eating and shopping location is also listed. All attractions are rated on a scale from 1 to 4, 4 being best. Attractions are rated relative to one another, so even a low rated Epcot attraction might be better than many attractions outside of Disney. Ratings are very subjective so please do not use them as your only criteria when planning your visit.
