The really like E-Ride night and am sad that it hasn't been done for a couple of years.

4ofustocmickey: Splash Mt is based on Song of the South. The movie (in video format) was never released in the US due to some of the slavery content.

i am confused. while at magic kingdom on the splash mountain ride. It is obvious the attraction is based on a movie, it seems as if everybody knew of the movie except my family, what is the name of that movie ands why would we have never seen the character's before?
-- 4ofustocmickey (6/2/2005)

Too bad they don't do this in Disneyland

I do E-Ride night every night available on my trips... highly worth it. Rode Splash 11 times on one night. In the afterhours the park has a VIP feel to it. For $12 you cant go wrong with this in value.

WELL WORTH IT......

E-ride night is wonderful. You can veiw the park in a new perspective. I've heard E-ride night only allows around 5,000 compared to the usual 20,000 to 25,000

I want to know where I can find E-ride nights update. We are going in 2003 and would like to get an idea of when the e-ride nights will be so we can plan our trip around those nights.

My husband and I were able to take advantage of E-Ride Nights this past June when we went "solo" (without the kids) to WDW for a week. It was great!! No real lines to wait in and it was much cooler than the daytime. I really wish that they would offer them at least one night a week so we could take advantage of them in our normal January vacation time slot. tiggerfan58

I've been there for the e-ride nights and I think it's a great idea. We were able to get on all the popular rides more than once and didn't even have to go around on line again. We were able to get pics with the characters too. I'd do again. No doubt about it. And all the crying babies were asleep in their beds.

When I did it, the place was nearly empty. I must have gone on Space Mountain ten times.

To sum it up, e-ride night is basically this: Magic Kingdom to yourself. I can guarantee those are the best 4 words any WDW lover will ever hear.
-- baybeegurl4 (5/28/2002)

I can't recomend it higher. I was able to go on Buzz, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain without having to wait in the long lines that are there earlier in the day. Plus it is a great chance to get pictures of a lite up castle without having to worry about people getting in the way.

I don't feel e-night is worth your TIME or money
-- 35mohawk (2/24/2002)

Given that the Magic Kingdom seems to close earlier than it probably should, E-Ride nights offer a great way to experience the best attractions at the Magic Kingdom. However, despite assurances that it is a limited offering for each night, you may still find yourself waiting in long lines... it's not always as private as advertised.
-- dairyvalley (3/12/2000)

I thnk E-Ride nights are a fantastic idea and well worth the money. You can spend your day doing some of the other wonderful stuff and go back later for your favorite rides without waiting. No more standing around in the hot sun waiting for my favorite rides!
-- delimouse (2/22/2000)

I have always enjoyed the E-Ride Nights at the Magic Kingdom. With the parks closing shortly after sunset, this is a great opportunity to enjoy the park after it gets dark, which is a great time to get pictures of the park (especially Tomorrowland). Also, there are hardly any crowds in the park on these nights, so you can get some empty pictures of the park as well! It is well worth the small price!
-- Thumpie (2/8/2000)

Last June on my vacation me and my friend decided to do an E ride night, it was well worth it. We rode all 10 rides that were open that night with the longest wait being 5 minutes for Space Mountain. If you wanna enjoy the Magic Kingdom with little or no wait, pay the 10 dollars and have a blast, you will be glad you did.
