Soap Opera Fans to Protest ABC Upfronts Tomorrow in NYC
Fans of ABC's recently cancelled daytime soaps All My Children and One Life to Live have organized a protest for tomorrow's afternoon upfronts. Upfronts are a TV industry event where network executives highlight upcoming programming to advertisers to entice commercial time purchases. Soap fans have been successful in targeting and receiving support from corporations such as Hoover who pulled advertisements from ABC following the soaps cancellation and will be outside the New York City venue of ABC's event.
