Habit Heroes closing at Epcot's Innoventions for offending guests?
Disney has announced the new Habit Heroes exhibit at Epcot's Innoventions will be closing and retooled before reopening. A time frame has not been set. The attraction encouraged kids to fight bad habits using villains including one called The Glutton. An article on Canada.com heavily criticized the attraction prior to its closing quoting experts who say it is "blatant discrimination" and "I just can't believe somebody out there thought it was a good idea to pick up where the school bullies left off and shame kids on their vacation."
Disney's only comment is that the attraction was in a soft opening phase to collect guest feedback and adjust it prior to its official opening. It is noteworthy, however, that a date for that reopening has not been announced. The website accompanying the attraction, HabitHeroes.com, is also now "Down For Maintenance"
