Oz The Great and Powerful Has Big Thursday Night Sales; Should Go Over $80M for the Weekend
The Hollywood Reporter writes Oz The Great and Powerful is off to a great start taking in on $2 million in Thursday night sales (with screenings starting at 9p). Its debut weekend should be in the $80 to $100 million range which would make it a huge hit. That would give it the 3rd largest March opening of al time behind only The Hunger Games and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
