Very Cool Character Shoe Ornaments Coming to Disney Parks This Spring
From the Official Disney Parks Blog...
I’m happy to share that these new ornaments will be at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts within the next few weeks. Similar to the character ear hat ornaments released last summer, these new shoe ornaments contain some amazing details. The artwork for these ornaments was created by Disney Design Group artists Cody Reynoldsand Costa Alavezos. Cody designed the majority of the shoes, including the Disney Princesses and other characters like Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse or Mary Poppins. I recently spoke with Costa Alavezos about his experience creating the Disney Villain shoes.
The shoes each measure approximately 3 inches long by 3.5 inches tall. All of them contain a removable ribbon attachment, which is perfect for those interested in displaying them year round.

Rich Manhattan Moms Hire Disabled Tour Guides to Skip Lines at WDW
A New York Post article writes about wealthy Manhattans who are hiring a tour guide company run by a disabled couple to skip lines at Disney World. The guides attend the parks with the family and, along with their guide, use Disney's disabled access policies to allow everyone to circumvent many lines. However, according to the tour company's Facebook Page, their whole purpose for being is to provide tours for other special needs families to Disney World and other Central Florida locations. So it's not clear, to me anyway, if the tour company is soliticting this type of business, or they are being taken advantage of in what is otherwise a very worthwhile endeavor. What do you think?
