Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

Unlike the Disney's Hollywood Hotel the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel has numerous different room configurations. The first series of photographs that follow are of the standard rooms (irrespective of view). Rooms feature beds that are emblazoned with the same Herb Ryman depiction of Sleeping Beauty Castle that are also a fixture of the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim with luxurious Alice in Wonderland-themed bed spreads. Much of the dark wood furniture has Hidden Mickeys throughout.

The centrepiece of the bathroom is a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs washbasin unit with Snow White herself and six of the dwarfs circling the mirror whilst Sneezy is depicted above the tissue box! The toiletries are arranged in a collectible box for guests to take home.

The top floor of the hotel is reserved for the Kingdom Club rooms. Most of the hotel's suites are also on this floor. The Kingdom Club suites have a separate lounge area and many have balconies. Residents can also use the Kingdom Club concierge lounge which is immediately off of the atrium walkway. The final room series in this update features the stunning Walt Disney Suite which has a lounge with an open bar area onto the kitchen. The larger of the two bedrooms has a gigantic four-poster bed. The smaller bedroom has two double beds. The bathroom features its own steam room and his and her sinks. A balcony snakes all around the apartment.

Another feature of the Victorian garden is the maze and the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is no exception. Any idea who is growing in the middle? The hotel also has two swimming pools (the first is the indoor that is part of the Victorian Spa that was in the last update) with the outdoor pool having a feature slides for kids.

The views are spectacular from the top floor with either a panoramic vista of the South China Sea or of Hong Kong Disneyland. Directly behind the hotel is the ferry port that will be operational in the future to transport guests from Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and even further afield. The facility will be administered by a contractor chosen by the Hong Kong SAR government.

This is the final of the preview updates from Hong Kong Disneyland. Keep visiting Laughingplace.com from September 12 when we will present photo essays from the Grand Opening of the first Magic Kingdom in the Middle Kingdom.

Enjoy!
