LP Lotion: Annual Passholder Ticket Exchange Center Opens at Epcot
Page 1 of 5
Today was the first day that current WDW Annual Passholders could go and get their new RFID Annual Pass. When I arrived this morning, I anticipated a long line but then I remembered other AP's may have normal jobs so thus no line when we arrived. As we walked in they had MagicPass+ turnstiles just inside the door. We were approached by a Cast Member who took us inside to a table with another cast member waiting to assist us. They asked to see our current pass and our photo id. As we handed it to them, they asked us what character we would like to have on our pass. They were the obvious choices: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. Donald was my choice as Donny's was Mickey. It was quick and simple and they made sure to ask us if we had the Disney Experience App on our phone or if we have any questions about it. Since we have the premium AP ours includes the "Parking 2013-2014" on the back of the pass and the expiration of our pass has to be written on it by the cast member.
The Odyssey Center at Epcot was decorated with many retired items from some of the various rides from Epcot and Magic Kingdom. TV monitors was surrounding the waiting area showing the wristbands and showing how to use them and what fun you can have when you wear them. I was very surprised to see it well themed for the passholders when I am sure they will have to be waiting in the lines for upgrades. As we left, they cast members by the new Magic+ turnstiles asked us if we wanted to try our pass to make sure it worked. So sure enough, we had to give it a try and was excited to have our new pass.
