The Blue Horizons set was designed by Stanley Meyer. Meyer is best known for his work designing the critically acclaimed Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast.

Blue Horizons show producer welcomes the annual passholder preview audience to the dress rehearsal. He thanks them for their support of Sea World and reminds them that their input is valued and offers several ways for comments and suggestions about today's performance to be expressed.

This is the story of Marina, a young girl who longs to explore the realms that live beyond the imagination, where she can dance on the ocean waves, with Delphus the legendary dolphin spirit of the sea and soar gracefully through the clouds with Aurora, the spirit of the sky.

Today as the song of adventure whispers on the ocean breeze, Marina's dream becomes a reality. Diving through her bedroom window, she finds herself on an incredible journey to a wondrous place where the golden sun meets a glowing sea in Blue Horizons.
