Pictures of the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, an annual tradition at Walt Disney World now in its 11th year. The 16-foot-tall structure is decorated by a team led by Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek. It takes 1,050 lbs. of honey, 800 lbs. of flour, 600 lbs. of chocolate, 600 lbs. of powdered sugar, 180 lbs. of apricot glaze, 140 pints of egg whites, and 35 lbs. of spices to create the display.
The Gingerbread House is open from 10a to 10p daily through December in the lobby of the Grand Floridian selling all kinds of gingerbread treasts.
