More Silly Symphonies presents a new collection of the young Disney Studio's pioneering, outstanding early animated shorts, including two directed by Walt himself. The Complete Pluto Volume 2 delivers more hilarious hi-jinks from Mickey's (and the world's) beloved canine companion, Pluto. Your Host, Walt Disney brings legendary live-action TV shows, hosted by Walt, to a new generation; and The Mickey Mouse Club Featuring The Hardy Boys is a family adventure from the Golden Age of Television, featuring Disney's first "Hardy Boys� serialized film in its entirety. All four 2-disc DVD sets feature rare or never-before-seen bonus materials that delve even deeper into these rich collections of Disney lore.

This second volume completes the Silly Symphonies collection with more award-winning shorts which showcase Walt's technical and narrative innovations. Over the years, Silly Symphonies has been used as a model of how best to combine sight and sound and included in this volume are over a dozen never-before-released shorts from 1929-1938.
Included in this collection are the Academy Award winner "Three Orphan Kittens� (Winner Best Short Subject 1935); "Mother Goose Goes to Hollywood�, and two seminal shorts directed by Walt himself: "Springtime� and "Night.� This collection includes over a dozen shorts that have never before been released on DVD.
Bonus materials include audio commentaries; "Silly Symphonies Rediscovered� featurette on this trail-blazing series of short films; "Animators At Play� featurette, and extensive production art galleries.

Mickey's best pal Pluto stars as top dog in a new set of adventure-filled animated shorts. One of Walt's classic characters, Pluto has kept generations of audiences in stitches with his hilarious antics. This collection offers all the zany, madcap comedy that Pluto is famous for, in a full-color collection that spans 1947 to 1951. Included are "Pluto's Blue Note� (Academy Award nominee, Best Short Subject, 1947), "Bone Bandit,� "Pluto's Sweater,� "Figaro and Cleo� and "Cat Nap Pluto.�
Bonus materials include: a "master class� with modern-day Disney animation masters Randy Cartwright and Andreas Deja. Randy discusses "Bone Trouble� and Andreas discusses "Hawaiian Holiday� - it's a class all Disney fans will want to attend!

The Mickey Mouse Club Featuring Hardy Boys
Adventures from the famous Hardy Boys books were serialized on the Mickey Mouse Club, and this Walt Disney Treasures volume includes the complete Hardy Boys debut serial from 1956-1957, "The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure.� This superb story features Tim Considine (Disney's "The Swamp Fox,� "The Shaggy Dog� and more) as Frank Hardy, and Tommy Kirk ("Old Yeller,� "Swiss Family Robinson� and many more) as Joe Hardy. The boys, both amateur detectives, are the sons of a famous sleuth who tells them that detective work is too dangerous for boys. But that doesn't stop them from going on a rousing quest to find a legendary treasure. Based on the best-selling book series by the mysterious writer, F.W. Dixon, "The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure� is fun live-action adventure for the whole family.
