Haunted Mansion Holiday Event Package K still available; J, A, C Sold Out (DL,Coll) posted: 7/24/02
The Disneyland Resort announces tickets are still available for Haunted Mansion Holiday Event package "K" but are expected to sell out within the next day or two. Package "K" includes admission to Disneyland, the panel discussion, preview of the attraction, opportunity to pre-purchase limited edition merchandise, and a commemorative gift. Tickets are $69. Packages "J", "A" and "C" are sold out. Two pairs of "J" tickets were planned to be auctioned off for the event. That is still the case and they will be up for auction within the next couple of months.

With six months still remaining until the race, the 2003 event has already set two personal records (or, in race terms, "PRs"). Registration officially concluded on July 12, marking the earliest closing date in the 10-year history of the Disney event. Thanks to the growing popularity in the world's most magical marathon, the upcoming race weekend also features the largest registered field in Disney history at 22,000. The 2002 Walt Disney World Marathon and Half Marathon, which took place in January, held both previous records, including a then-best registered field of 18,500, and a registration closing date of July 19.
