The Disney Vacation Club Announced that they will be building Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas as part of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The first phase, to open in the fall of 2007, will include 134 remodeled rooms on the fifth and sixth floors of the existing the resort Later phases will include construction of 324 new vacation homes. An expanded animal savannah a new table-service resteraunt, a themed pool and water play island, a merchandise shop, and sports-and-recreation facilities are also part of the project. It is scheduled to be completed in April 2009.
