CSLive.com to Give Away Disney Stuff

Collectors' Showcase magazine announced today the successful completion of the first phase of its "Gimme Free Stuff" promotion on CSlive.com -- Web companion to the 18-year-old magazine that focuses on character collectibles. During June and July, the new site enjoyed exceptional traffic levels with over 27,000 user sessions and 600,000 hits. Daily winners walked away with 50 Austin Powers collectible prizes from partner companies including Matchbox Collectibles, McFarlane Toys, Trendmasters and Cornerstone Communications.

CSlive.com, in conjunction with DC Comics, also hosted a read-and-win contest for a rare unpainted Superman sculpture created by comic heavyweights Alex Ross, Chris Ware and Joe DeVito. "I am so excited. I tried really hard to win this one," said winner Kim Smith. "I've got to tell everyone."
