After Hours Halloween Parties at Disneyland Paris

Bewitching Evenings Halloween at Disneyland Paris
October 30 and 31, 1999

On October 30 and 31, in order to celebrate Halloween and the night of ghosts, Disneyland Paris is organising two special evenings in the Theme Park. The Halloween Passport, specially published for this occasion at FF 140, will give access from 9:00 p.m. after the Park closes for one of the private evenings. These will be held at Frontierland, Discoveryland and Main Street, U.S.A., where music and entertainment themed for Halloween will continue until 2:00 a.m.

As soon as the guests enter, they will be plunged into the dark, Halloween atmosphere. The façades of the walls on Main Street will be haunted by devilish spirits in surprising and mysterious shadows. Sleeping Beauty’s Castle will be decorated in disquieting red and black reflections. Cruella Devil, Jafar, Captain Hook and many other Villains will welcome the guests.

Throughout the evening, a costume contest will reward the most morbid creations.

Dracula as the master of ceremonies, surrounded by satanic dancers, will  trigger off the bewitching Halloween evening on the central stage.  Following that, scarecrows, ghosts of times past, monsters, skeletons, witches and the meanest Disney Villains will parade down Main Street, U.S.A, invading Frontierland in a large, horrifying parade.

Throughout the evening guests can go to the Lucky Nugget Saloon to watch the «Glamour Witch Show», in which a spooky witch, surrounded by her musicians, sings a repertoire of satanic songs.
At the Cowboy Cookout, the Hillbilly Trio, disguised as scarecrows, accompany the pumpkins for the Halloween Hoe-down Party.

Throughout the night, the Mark Twain paddle boat will drift along the misty lake. Phantom Manor, residence of  the ghosts of times past, will open its doors wide for a surprise-filled tour. Big Thunder Mountain, a real ghost train, will rush faster than ever towards an unknown destination ...
The special Halloween creative workshops at Critter Corral will welcome children and adults alike all evening long, to touch-up their makeup, dress them up as evil spirits, convert hair-does into strange creations by the scarecrow hairdressers, and even liven-up costumes with Halloween masks and materials. The pumpkin man, a talented sculptor, will cut up pumpkins of all shapes and sizes and turn them into scary, orange faces.
The restaurants in Frontierland will offer Halloween dishes and specialities and give their guests a taste of this ghostly evening.

Videopolis in Discoveryland, all wrapped-up in fluorescent spider webs, will welcome a spell binding DJ Monster Mash evening. Space Mountain, Star Tours and the Visionarium will take our guests through space and time, at the speed of lightning, while Honey, I shrunk the Audience will offer a truly strange experience.

A spooky Hocus Pocus concert will take place in the Park. Dracula will be on stage, surrounded by bewitching creatures and  witches, and will lead the dancing all evening long.

At midnight, an impressive fireworks show will take place around Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. A witch, flying from the top of one of the castle’s towers, will trigger off the show. Finally, the central plaza will be converted into a giant discotheque to wrap up each evening with spells of all kinds.
