The Disney Animators Series, a new portfolio of Walt Disney Animation Art, recently debuted from Walt Disney Art Classics. These releases of traditionally created cel set-ups pay tribute to the animators including Disney Legends Ward Kimball, Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston and Marc Davis, who introduced us to some of the most beloved Disney characters.
Each showcased animator played a key role in the art direction of the Disney Animators Series by selecting the characters and layout of the final pieces. As a finishing touch, each animator has hand-signed the background of their corresponding finished artwork. The Disney Animators Series has been published in an edition size of 375 pieces for each featured animator.
