Sunday in the Park at the Disney Institute
"Sunday On The Green" Performances at Disney Institute Latest Addition to Diverse Line-Up of Entertainment Options
For years, families, friends and neighbors in towns across America gathered in parks and band shells to hear the likes of John Philip Sousa, the local church choir or a Dixieland jazz and cornet band. Families would often pack in their picnic baskets to enjoy during the concert and the performances often brought entire communities together to enjoy a relaxing Sunday on the green.
Now a new outdoor series of concerts and performances has premiered in the 1,100-seat Disney Institute Amphitheater, allowing local residents and Disney Institute guests the opportunity to enjoy a diverse entertainment line-up throughout the year.
Disney Institute "Sunday On The Green" performances are the first Sunday of every month from 3-5 p.m. and free and open to the public on a first-come, first-seated basis. Seating takes place one-half hour before show time.
