Pet Assure Joins Walt Disney Pictures as Promotional Partner For '102 Dalmatians'

Pet Assure, Inc. and Walt Disney Pictures have entered into a promotional partnership for the theatrical release of "102 Dalmatians," the studio's follow-up to its 1996 blockbuster hit "101 Dalmatians." The film will be released in theatres nationwide on November 22.

Beginning in November 2000, Pet Assure will offer pet owners all across America the opportunity to "see the movie on us!" Pet Assure will reimburse moviegoers for the full price of up to two (2) tickets to "102 Dalmatians" with the purchase of a Pet Assure membership. Pet Assure members receive a 25 percent discount on veterinary services and prescription drugs from over 2,200 participating providers nationwide along with savings of up to 50 percent on pet food, supplies, training, boarding, grooming and other services through the company's national Member Deals network. Pets enrolled in the Pet Assure program also receive an automated location tag. The tag bears a toll-free number and ID code that can be used to help reunite a lost pet with its owner 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Pet Assure donates a portion of all membership fees to animal shelters and charities dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, neglected, and abused animals. (The regular price of a Pet Assure membership is $99 annually for one pet, or $129 for all pets in a household. All memberships -- single or family -- sold through the Disney promotion will be priced at the special rate of $89 minus the cost of two tickets to the movie. Ticket stubs must be mailed to Pet Assure for reimbursement/credit.)

Walt Disney Pictures once again "spot-lights" comedy, fantasy and fun-filled adventure in the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 box office blockbuster, "101 Dalmatians." In this all-new tale, Cruella De Vil (GLENN CLOSE) is released from prison on good behavior vowing that she will have nothing to do with fur ever again. She, however, cannot keep this promise and is soon plotting another "FUR-OCIOUS" scheme to get her ultimate Dalmatian coat. The fun and adventure shift into high gear as Cruella and the dogs romp through Paris, in Walt Disney Pictures' live-action comedy, "102 Dalmatians."

Pet Assure's "102 Dalmatians" promotion and ticket offer will run from November 4 through December 31, 2000.
