Boy Meets World series coming to Disney Channel
Disney Channel Acquires 157 Episodes of ABC's Hit Comedy Series 'Boy Meets World'
Series Premieres with a 10-Hour Marathon Friday, Sept. 1, 2 p.m.-Midnight ET/PT
Will Air Daily Beginning Saturday, Sept. 2
Disney Channel, the leader in television for kids and families, has acquired 157 half-hour episodes (7 seasons) of the hit ABC comedy series, "Boy Meets World."
Produced by Michael Jacobs Productions in association with Touchstone Television, the series will premiere on Disney Channel with a 10-hour marathon Friday, Sept. 1, 2 p.m.-Midnight ET/PT and will air daily beginning Saturday, Sept. 2.
Starring a talented young ensemble cast including Ben Savage, Will Friedle, Rider Strong and Danielle Fishel, "Boy Meets World" is a coming-of-age comedy centered around the life of Cory Matthews (Savage), a confused yet inquisitive middle child who continually runs up against all the bumps and curves adolescence can throw at him. Beginning with Cory's life in the fifth grade, the series chronicles the adventures, and misadventures, of Cory through his senior year of high school.
