Disney Consumer Products Hires Ronald Wagenseil as Vice President of Global Sales

Ronald Wagenseil has joined Disney Consumer Products as vice president of global sales, it was announced today by Roger Wyett, senior vice president of global apparel for the division.

Wagenseil will oversee sales planning, management and operations for the apparel business at Disney's consumer products division.

"Ron is a proven leader with more than two decades of experience in sales and marketing," Wyett said. "He understands the value of a clear and intelligent strategic sales vision and the importance of retail relationships. That will be invaluable for us as we look to provide our global consumers with the best and most relevant Disney apparel and products."

Wagenseil had been director of sales at Nike Inc., where he oversaw the development and implementation of sales initiatives, action plans and accountabilities while providing global sales leadership with the company.

Previously, Wagenseil was the vice president of sales for the golf and tennis division of Jasper Textiles and the vice president of sales for the men's and women's division of Lee Company, a division of Vanity Fair.

Wagenseil holds a B.S. in business administration, marketing from Fort Lauderdale University.
