GO.com today promoted Ken Goldstein to executive vice president and managing director of Disney Online, the business unit of GO.com that produces the No. 1 entertainment destination for kids and families on the World Wide Web, it was announced by Steve Wadsworth, president, GO.com.
In his expanded leadership position, Goldstein will continue to direct all creative, technical, marketing and financial initiatives for Disney.com with additional responsibility for achieving strategic growth in the business of Family.com.
He will also be closely involved in the implementation of transaction based sites for GO.com's online travel businesses. In addition, Goldstein's team will drive the development of Studio.go.com, a recently launched entertainment hub featuring a number of renowned brands of The Walt Disney Company that includes Touchstone Pictures, Touchstone Television, Hollywood Pictures, Hollywood Records, Hyperion Books, TVPlex, Video.com, and SoapNet.

Ken's ability to produce children and family entertainment using innovative technology serves our sites and online guests well," said Steve Bornstein, chairman, GO.com.
"During his tenure overseeing Disney.com, Ken and his team have created a compelling online destination that is the undisputed leader among families and kids. We are quite pleased that Ken will translate his experiences and successes from Disney.com to other areas of the GO.com business," said Wadsworth.
