Driving Concepts Inc. Appoints Jack Lindquist to Board of Directors Business Editors and Automotive Writers

Former Disneyland President Offers Valuable Marketing Experience to Guide Rapidly Expanding Company Focused on Providing High Performance and Safety Awareness Driving Programs

Driving Concepts Inc., a leading provider of high performance and safety awareness programs for all drivers, Monday announced that Jack Lindquist has joined as chairman of the board of directors.

Lindquist will be contributing his extensive marketing expertise to guide Driving Concepts through a major expansion phase as the company promotes and builds brand awareness for its uniquely customized and client profiled driving and motorsports services.

"We are extremely fortunate to have a seasoned marketing expert such as Jack join our growing team," said Ray Hampton, general manager of Driving Concepts. "As chairman of our board of directors, Jack will help us expand our operations and driving services wisely so we can capitalize on the market demand and position the company to generate long-term value."

Lindquist is the founder and chairman of the board of The Lindquist Group, an Irvine-based marketing consortium specializing in creating and implementing customized marketing services.

Lindquist continues to be active in the business community and currently serves on the board of trustees of Chapman University, board of directors of the Orange County Tourism Council, board of directors of the Orange County Business Council, the university advisory board of California State University Fullerton and the board of directors of the KOCE TV Foundation.

"Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to observe and participate in the formation of new markets and services. I see a need in the marketplace for enhanced driving development for drivers at all levels and I'm confident that Driving Concepts has a highly focused training and safety education program of services," said Lindquist.

Prior to joining Driving Concepts' board of directors, Lindquist served as president of Disneyland. During his 38-year career at Disney, he was devoted primarily to marketing theme park products.

In addition to creating and directing the marketing efforts for Disneyland, Lindquist was responsible for the development and operations of the marketing organizations for Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, EPCOT Center and planning for Disneyland Paris.
