Woody's Roundup Western Tunes CD
The Riders are Back in the Saddle Again With ``Woody's Roundup''
Walt Disney Records Releases All-New Collection of Woody's Favorite Western Tunes Just in Time for the ``Toy Story 2'' Home Video/Disney DVD Release on Oct. 17
Woody's favorite cowboys are back on the trail again with a collection of favorite western tunes inspired by the ``Woody's Roundup'' TV show featured in the blockbuster ``Toy Story 2.''
Those crazy yodelin' cowboys Riders In The Sky continue bringing good beef to hungry people with a collection of 13 songs sure to make the young and the young at heart yearn to live the cowboy way.
Riders In The Sky have been bringing their own special brand of western entertainment to fans around the world for more than 20 years. Famous for their spontaneous on-stage antics as well as their perfectly blended harmonies, Ranger Doug, Woody Paul, Too Slim and Joey the Cowpolka King keep the memory of legendary cowboys Roy Rogers and Gene Autry alive and well in America.
As ``Toy Story 2'' director John Lasseter summed it up, ``These guys are probably the best in the world at the classic cowboy sound.''
And as far as working with that No. 1 classic cowboy, Woody, Too Slim said: ``Working with Woody in the studio was a thrill because unlike a lot of the animated cowboys he is a real guy. And, he would go out for an adult libation after the show with us. We had a really good time with him.''
``Woody's Roundup'' is available at retail now, just in time for the ``Toy Story 2'' home video/Disney DVD release from Walt Disney Home Video on Oct. 17. Until then ... may the horse be with you.
