Plans for those attending the February 8th opening of Disney's California Adventure

Disneyland spokesperson Ray Gomez sent the following information to LaughingPlace.com regarding overnight lineups to enter Disney's California Adventure (DCA) on its Thursday, February 8th opening day:

"At this time we are planning for overnight guests who wish to queue up for the official first day of Disney's California Adventure. ... We will not be accepting guests for DCA queueing earlier than 5:00 p.m. on February 7th. After 5:00 p.m. on February 7th, any guest wishing to wait for the park opening at 8:00 am on February 8th will be directed to the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Guest arriving prior to 5:00 p.m. will not be allowed to queue up.

At Mickey and Friends parking structure, DCA guests will be checked in and a queue line will be formed. At the appropriate time on the morning of February 8th, all 'checked in' guests will be escorted into DCA.

A ticket sales location will be in place at the Mickey and Friends parking structure for guests with out a pre-purchased ticket. "

When asked specifically about queuing in Disneyland overnight, Gomez could not confirm whether or not that would be permitted.
