KIDS EAT FREE At Hotel Royal Plaza An Official Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando
"JJ's Club" In Giraffe Diner Provides Complimentary Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner For Kids Under 12

The 394-room Hotel Royal Plaza in the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando (www.royal-plaza.com) is making 2001 the summer to remember by providing FREE breakfast, lunch and dinner to all registered hotel guests under 12 years old. One of just 7 Official Walt Disney World Resorts, located within walking distance of "Downtown Disney" the Hotel Royal Plaza provides:

  • Guaranteed access and free transportation to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom
  • Exclusive "Disney Surprise Mornings," giving guests who use the morning shuttle admission to a selected Walt Disney World Theme Park one hour prior to opening to the general public
  • Preferred tee times can be arranged at all 5 Disney resort golf courses

This summer's KIDS EAT FREE program for children under 12 covers breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel's Giraffe Diner. It is the latest addition to "JJ's Club" named for the restaurant's mascot giraffe. The club is free to guests under 12 and allows kids to register in their own check-in area and receive a personal membership card, giraffe toy and giraffe pen. While their parents register, the kids can enjoy Disney videos in their own lobby lounge area featuring kid-sized couch and easy chairs.

The Hotel Royal Plaza in the Walt Disney World Resort is offering several added-value packages this summer (rates good through Labor Day):

  • "Mega-Magic" package for 2 includes 4 nights accommodations, 4-day pass with early admission and complimentary transportation to all Disney attractions (Disney World, EPCOT, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom), 2 tickets to Pleasure Island entertainment complex and buffet breakfast each day, $995.93 INCLUDES tax and gratuity.
  • "Royal Celebration" is the same package for 2 adults, 2 children (accommodations, breakfast, Disney 4 day admission, Pleasure Island 1 day). All of the above plus welcome beverage and a Mickey Mouse gift for each child, $1594 INCLUDES tax.
  • "Fun '01" package includes accommodations and breakfast buffet for 2 people, $145.75 per night INCLUDES tax and gratuity.

In addition to The Burt Reynolds Suite and The Barbara Mandrell Suite, each featuring memorabilia from these celebrities' many stays at the Royal Plaza, the hotel offers nineteen Executive King rooms featuring a sitting room area, with pull-out sleeper sofa, separated from the bedroom by French doors. Amenities in these rooms include a wet bar and safe in addition to the amenities in all guestrooms: a 25" remote TV, phone with data port, coffeemaker, ceiling fan, hair dryer and marble bath with hand-glazed ceramic tile. Hotel facilities include outdoor pool and spa, fitness center, and lighted tennis courts. Tower room guests can enjoy fresh air and views of Disney World/EPCOT and Lake Buena Vista from their balconies. Lanai guests have instant access to the swimming pool, pool deck, whirlpool and fitness center.
