With the release of Mystery pin #16 on Saturday, September 15th guests were given the following information:

In light of this past week's national tragedy, Mystery Pin #18, which was set to be released on Saturday, September 29, 2001 will be delayed until further notice.
Information regarding the release of Mystery Pin #18 will be available at the following locations beginning Saturday, September 22, 2001.
- Disney Showcase, Main Street USA, Disneyland Park
- Treasures In Paradise, Disney's California Adventure
- Villains' Room, World of Disney, Downtown Disney District
