Walt Disney World Resort Welcomes 100 'Very Important Princesses' to the Magic Kingdom, Celebrating the Premiere of 'Cinderella II: Dreams Come True' on Disney DVD and Video

As a part of our yearlong 100 Years of Magic celebration, Walt Disney World commemorated the premiere of "Cinderella II: Dreams Come True" on Disney DVD and video by welcoming 100 "Very Important Princesses" to the Magic Kingdom. Ten lucky contest winners -- girls ages 5-10 from Disney Stores around country -- along with 90 Central Florida girls, became princesses for the day.

The VIPs got their picture taken with Cinderella and watched the Magic Kingdom's new castle forecourt stage show, Cinderella's Surprise Celebration, from a "Very Important Princess" location - decked out in their very own princess dresses and tiaras.

After the show, the VIPs participated in a "Princess Processional" down Main Street, U.S.A., with Cinderella, Prince Charming, her royal carriage and attendants. The "Very Important Princess" ceremony was be the start of a day-long itinerary for the newly-titled VIPs which included dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, VIP viewing of the Magic Kingdom's new "Share A Dream Come True" parade and receiving a copy of the DVD.
