The Country Bears - the greatest bear rock band in history - is getting their act together and bringing it to the El Capitan Theatre for one of the most entertaining events of the summer which includes a great new Disney family film and an amazing live in-theatre concert by the Country Bears themselves.
The Movie
11-year-old Beary Barrington’s favorite musical group is The Country Bears – the
greatest bear rock band in history. Even though the group broke up decades ago, Beary is
their numberone fan and has listened to all their old records over and over again. The
Bears have their differences now, and haven’t spoken to each other in years, but to
Beary, nothing is more important than his quest to reunite the group for a benefit concert
to save Country Bear Hall, the legendary venue where the band got its start. Featuring
musical performances or appearances by real-life rock-and-roll legends Don Henley, John
Hiatt, Elton John, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, and Brian Setzer, audiences
will want to bring the cubs to the biggest rock ‘n roll reunion in history.
