the hottest video game to hit the gamer scene in years, with Peter Wyse, Sr. Producer of Kingdom Hearts at Disney Interactive, conducting a one hour seminar about "Kingdom Hearts", he’s also bringing a video "trailer" of "Kingdom Hearts”, seen only at game conventions.

Disneyland Resort Merchandise and Special Events Merchandise division - featuring Tony Garrison, Director of Merchandise Specialized Businesses for the Disneyland Resort will be doing a bit of show & tell for upcoming events and merchandise in the works will be a great Disneyland day from 10:30 until noon.

Disney Legend Robert Sherman
Noon - 1:30p

The art of Robert Sherman. Better known as half of the Academy Award winning songwriting team that created music for motion pictures, including Mary Poppins; theme parks, including the Carousel of Progress and it’s a small world; and television, including the Wonderful World of Color; he will be discussing his other artistic outlet.

He will be discussing the new plans for Disney’s California Adventure. Barry has been the driving force behind the new park and will be able to fill us all in on the additions to come.

And we can announce the return of one of our favorites - and she’s a great one - Cynthia Harriss, President of the Disneyland Resort, will be a featured speaker - her seminar is scheduled at 5:00PM. Cynthia will be giving conventioneers an update on upcoming events and activities at the Happiest Place on Earth. This is a rare opportunity as Cynthia is very busy and has carved out some time from her day to come and share some information with us.

Former Disney Imagineer and Henson puppeteer Terri Hardin will host an unprecedented reunion of "Country Bear" performers with a dozen or so suit performers, puppeteers, and actors expected to attend.

Walt Disney's 100th Birthday - Marceline, MO
10:30a - 11:30a

Kaye Mallins from Marceline, Missouri will talk about the events in Marceline. Kay joined us last year to announce the birthday celebration now we'll have to see how the plans actually came to fruition. Dan Viets will be discussing his new book, Walt Disney's Missouri: Roots of a Creative Genius set to hit the stores in August. But you'll get an early look.

The highlight of the day is our signature event - our “Luncheon with a Disney Legend” - from noon until 3:00pm. Dennis Tanida has truly outdone himself in shaping a wonderful event - this year’s NFFC’s Luncheon with a Disney Legend will be held to Honor The Walt Disney Family Foundation. The Foundation shares the same mission as the NFFC - to preserve the legacy of Walt Disney.
