Pin Mania Weekend at Disneyland ®, August 3 - 4, Celebrates the Worldwide Launch of Disney Pin Trading
Disney pin collectors from around the world will now be able to enhance their collections at an "ultimate" Pin Trading Destination when 'Pin Mania Weekend' celebrates the worldwide launch of Disney Pin Trading at the DISNEYLAND Resort. The weekend will feature a series of pin events and activities, opening of the new Premiere Shop in Tomorrowland and a special appearance by celebrity Marie Osmond signing her DISNEYLAND exclusive Adora Belle pin trading doll.
The celebration will begin with the pin trading "kick-off" at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, in front of the Premier Shop in Tomorrowland. The new store is the ultimate destination for Disney pins, build-a-pin, and print on demand. This new technology at "The Happiest Place on Earth" allows guests to obtain replicated poster size images of DISNEYLAND park attractions and characters.

To add to the fun, Marie Osmond will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to sign her doll Adora Belle that is only available at DISNEYLAND park. Adora Belle is dressed like an "it's a small world" Gondolier Hostess in a smart looking red jacket, a blue pleated skort, white socks and straw hat. She comes complete with a miniature pin trading lanyard and mini pins that are permanently affixed, as well as two tradable pins. Adora Belle is limited to an edition size of 1000.
On Sunday, August 4, guests can enjoy the interactive DISNEYLAND Soundsation Pin Event. The event begins at park opening, when pin enthusiasts can pick up special maps at Main Street Fire Station that guide them to four locations in the park where they will receive stamps. When the map is completely stamped, guests can then visit the Premiere Shop in Tomorrowland to receive a special commemorative event pin. The event will run all day until park closing.
Children are encouraged to participate with an event all their own at the Kids Only Pin Trading Sessions. This unique event takes place at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily, beginning Sunday. Kids can play games, win prizes, trade from the "Kids Only Trading Board" and trade with a Super Trader.
