Walt Disney Internet Group
(WDIG) and AT&T Corp. (NYSE:T) today announced an agreement under which WDIG will
license select online content on a non-exclusive basis to AT&T Corp. for
re-distribution via the AT&T Worldnet(R) Service homepage
(www.att.net.)
As part of this agreement, a
variety of WDIG content offerings, including articles, graphics, sports scores &
schedules, and games from Disney.com, FamilyFun.com, and ESPN.com will be available to
AT&T WorldNet subscribers. Content from ABCNEWS.com, including full text news
articles, video excerpts, and audio news is already offered on the AT&T Worldnet(R) site as part of a deal finalized in June of this year.
"This relationship
supports our commitment to offering Disney.com, ABCNEWS.com and ESPN.com content across a
variety of distribution media outlets and platforms," said Larry Shapiro, executive
vice president, business development and operations, Walt Disney Internet Group. "By
aligning ourselves with a leader like AT&T, we expand our audience and offer AT&T
subscribers immediate access to additional world-class content."

AT&T Worldnet Service is compatible with Microsoft Windows 98, Me, NT 4, 2000, and XP, and Mac OS X (10.1 or higher).
