Walt Disney Internet Group Names Paul Hausback Vice President
Paul Hausback has been named vice president of business operations for the Walt Disney Internet Group's technology services (WDIG). In this position, he manages the administrative, operational and planning aspects of the WDIG Technology Services business and directly oversees the activities of the WDIG Technology Finance, Program Management Office, and Information Services groups.
Hausback has been with The Walt Disney Company for nearly seven years. Previously, Hausback was vice president, operations at Disney Interactive, where he was responsible for all worldwide operations functions, including manufacturing, packaging, quality assurance and business process and controls. Hausback joined Disney in finance with Disney Consumer Products, and also served in finance at The Disney Store, North America.
"Paul's blend of experience in operations and controllership, especially with The Walt Disney Company, make him ideally suited for this position," said Doug Parrish, senior vice president and chief technology officer, Walt Disney Internet Group.
Before joining Disney, Hausback was director of treasury for the Customer Financial Services division of Avery Dennison Corporation. Prior to Avery Dennison, he held positions with Security Pacific Corporation; First Interstate Bank of California; and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.
Hausback earned a bachelor's of science degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach and a master's of business administration from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
