Vacation Package Offer a Big Hit; Travel Dates Extended to Nov. 20 as Promotion Nears End
Guest Gets a 7-Night Vacation Package for the Price of 4
The limited offer introducing Disney's Fairytale Vacation Package with a seven-night stay for the price of a four-night package is about to expire, but the Walt Disney World Resort is giving the promotion a grand send-off by extending the available vacation travel window by three weeks, to Nov. 20. What hasn't changed is the booking window: Arrangements must be made by June 29.
The extension of the vacation travel period follows an overwhelming response to the limited promotional offer announced in May for seven-night stays between July 4 and Oct. 30.
"We introduced a new vacation package with an appealing offer as a way to encourage people to take a vacation -- and the response has been overwhelming," said Al Weiss, president of Walt Disney World Resort. "So now we're extending the available vacation period to make a seven-night visit to Walt Disney World Resort a possibility for more people."
- The introductory Disney's Fairytale Vacation Package offer includes:
- a stay of seven nights at a select Walt Disney World Resort hotel;
- an Ultimate Park Hopper ticket (featuring unlimited admission to the
four Disney theme parks, two water parks and Downtown Disney Pleasure
Island, DisneyQuest and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex);
- and a "Mickey's PhilharMagic" character print and pin together in a frame
- all for the price of a four-night package.
Disney's Fairytale Vacation Package is available for travel most nights through Nov. 20, 2003. A limited number of packages are available for this promotion.
With the extension of the vacation travel window, guests interested in attending the ABC Super Soap Weekend event (Nov. 8-9 at Disney-MGM Studios), the 28th annual Festival of the Masters (Nov. 7-9 at Downtown Disney area) or the final weeks of the eighth annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (Oct. 18-Nov. 16) can also enjoy the special savings of the promotion.
The package can be booked by referencing booking code ZRFS at www.disneyworld.com , by calling Walt Disney World Resort at 407/W-DISNEY, or by contacting a local travel agent. But reservations must be made by June 29, 2003.
