Los Lobos Added to Stellar
Entertainment Line-Up for Disney's Third Annual Fiesta Latina At Disney's California
Adventure
Mexican-American Crossover Artists to Kick-Off First Weekend Festivities
World famous recording artists Los Lobos has been added to the eclectic entertainment schedule for two performances on Sunday September 14 at Disneys Fiesta Latina - a fun-filled cultural event at Disneys California Adventure, presented by Mission Foods. Held in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Disneys Fiesta Latina will run for four weekends; September 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28, and October 4-5.
Thirty years ago in East Los Angeles, four high school pals came together to form Los Lobos, a band that made history injecting the Mexican traditional music they grew up listening to with rock n roll, creating a new sound. Over the years, they continued to craft their music, solidifying their artistry and skyrocketing success by recreating Ritchie Valens songs for the hit 1987 movie, La Bamba. A band of brothers who continue to remain actively involved in film and television, their most recent efforts include composing the score for such hit films as Spy Kids. This fall, in addition to performing at Disneys Fiesta Latina, Los Lobos is releasing a new album, Good Morning Aztlán.
Ive got a great job. I get to run around the world with my best friends. What could be better than that? said Louie Perez of Los Lobos. What really amazes me after this long, weve not only become stronger as a band, but weve been able to maintain a sense of enthusiasm and discovery about ourselves and our music.

Los Lobos is joined by an impressive group of performers, including top-name talent performing twice daily at 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. on the Paradise Bay Stage, regional mariachi bands, community youth music groups and ballet folklorico troupes from Southern California.
